The invention concerns a carton loading device () comprising a gripper assembly (), which comprises at least one gripper () arranged to grip a product item (P) from above and to lower the product item (P) into a carton (). The carton () comprises along first parallel sides () thereof comprises bottom side flaps () and top side flaps () and along second parallel sides () thereof comprises bottom end flaps () and top end flaps () and is presented to the gripper assembly () in a sleeve state with all flaps (-) unfolded. The gripper assembly () comprises a pinching means () arranged to pinch and hold the top side flaps () of the carton () and to hold and move the carton () and said product item (P) jointly to a carton closing station of the carton loading device (), where the gripper assembly () finally releases said product item (P) and the carton () once the bottom side flaps () and the bottom end flaps () have been folded in and secured.

Apparatus for grouping a number of units, such as packaging units, when palleting the units, comprising a feed belt for conveying the units () and a grouping belt, which defines a grouping plane, said feed and grouping belts being driven for movement parallel to one another, and a robot, which is designed to group the units by positioning and orienting the units on the grouping plane. At least one part of the feed belt () runs beside and adjacent to the grouping belt (). The robot () is a multi-axial industrial robot having a robotic arm on which a pusher element () is arranged, rotatable about an axis () perpendicular to the grouping plane, in order to allow the transfer of at least one unit from the feed belt to the grouping belt under a pushing action supplied by the pushing element, together with orientation and positioning of the unit on the grouping belt.

Apparatus and method for grouping units

An arrangement for handling packaging units, such as bottles, crates and the like with the aid of a robot, wherein the arrangement includes a mounting part () which is adapted for fixation to a robot arm, a tool carrier () which is adapted to carry one or more handling tools () such as a number of bottle grippers or the like, and a number of couplings each comprising a first engagement member () affixed to the mounting part, and a second engagement member () affixed to the tool carrier, wherein the second engagement member is restrictively displaceable axially relative to the first engagement member, so that the second engagement member will take a latching position relative to the first engagement member under the effect of gravity on the tool carrier in engagement with the first engagement member, wherein the working state of the tool carrier relative to the mounting part is defined when all second engagement members are in their respective latching positions.

A bottle that can be stacked on other similar bottles ( ), either with or without an intermediate carrier plate ( ), is bound together with adjacent bottles to form stable stacks. Bottle gripping device

A nozzle with at least one opening that can be closed off, and especially a nozzle for packaging machines, including those that handle liquid products, with a valve body in the form of a piston that moves back and forth between a retracted position wherein it leaves the opening free and an advanced position wherein it completely closes off the opening. The object is to provide a nozzle with highly effective product-trimming action and continued piston operation even during the sterilization process. A guide for the piston has at least two positioning surfaces that operate in conjunction with two essentially opposite surfaces on the piston and precisely position it in the nozzle opening. The piston is axially divided or slit. Tensioning components force the halves of the piston apart and tight against the walls of the nozzle opening.

Bottle-gripping device

A liquid dispensing device in the form of a so-called piston valve for use with a gasoline pump comprises a valve housing having an inlet connected to the pump and an outlet; a valve for controlling the flow of liquid from the inlet to the outlet; a discharge pipe connected to said outlet; and a manually operable operating mechanism for controlling movement of said valve, which operating mechanism comprises adjustable means which can be moved between an engagement position and a free position. In order to avoid the risk of unexpected flow of gasoline when the pump is activated, the movement of the adjustable means between said free position and said engagement position is arranged to take place in dependence upon the pressure of the gasoline at the inlet, and passage means are arranged for equalizing the overpressure at the inlet when the pump is deactivated when the valve is open or if an attempt is made to open the valve when the pump is deactivated and said pressure is sufficient to move the adjustable means.
