The at least one controller () is configured to receive, from the at least one input unit (), said input data relating to the operation of the robotic work tool (). The at least one controller () is further configured to adapt a collision threshold based on said input data relating to the operation of the robotic work tool (). The collision threshold is related to said movement of the chassis () with respect to the body () detected by the at least one collision sensor arrangement ().

A height adjustment device may include a height adjustment screw having outer threads and being oriented substantially vertically and arranged rotatably in relation to a chassis, and an adjustment nut connected to a bracket and comprising inner threads for engagement with the threads of the adjustment screw, such that a rotary movement of the height adjustment screw results in a vertical linear movement of the bracket. An outdoor robotic tool comprising a first part and a second part, wherein the first part supports the second part through a suspension arrangement. The suspension arrangement comprises a first component, which comprises at least one magnetic member; and a second component, which comprises at least one magnetic member. The first component is attached to the first part, wherein the second component is attached to the second part, wherein at least one of the magnetic members of suspension arrangement is a permanent magnet; and wherein a magnetic member of the first component is positioned so as to magnetically interact with a magnetic member of the second component when in use. A magnetic field sensing unit may be present that comprises a control unit and a magnetic field sensor. A method for detecting the alignment of the first part relative to the second part, wherein the method comprises detecting the magnetic field using the magnetic field sensing unit.

The present disclosure relates to an articulated self-propelled robotic toolwith first and second platforms, each comprising a wheel setdriven by motors. A link arrangement connects the first platform to the second platform at a turning axis. A driving error is determined by recording a driving input to the motors and a resulting movement parameter, comparing the resulting movement with an estimated resulting movement which is based on the driving input. Slip is detected using the driving error.
