There is provided an apparatus comprising means for: receiving, from a network node, a group based measurement event configuration comprising information indicating one or more trigger conditions associated with at least one group of beams, wherein each of the at least one group of beams comprises one or more beams associated with a first transmit-receive point and/or a second transmit-receive point; performing one or more beam measurements for the beams comprised in the at least one group of beams; determining, based on the one or more beam measurements, that at least one of the one or more trigger conditions is satisfied for one or more beams within the at least one group of beams; and in response to the determining, sending, to the network node, measurement reporting comprising at least one of: the one or more beam measurements on the one or more beams for which the at least one trigger condition is satisfied; information identifying the at least one trigger condition that was satisfied; and/or information identifying the one or more beams for which the at least one trigger condition is satisfied.

Early measurements for PSCell addition after handover

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method, device and computer readable storage medium of communication. The method implemented at a first device comprises receiving, from a second device, a first configuration about a first measurement of first downlink reference signals of the second device and a second configuration about a second measurement of second downlink reference signals of a third device; determining, based on an active bandwidth part of the first device and the first and second configurations, first information for the first measurement and second information for the second measurement; determining a first result of the first measurement based on the first information and a second result of the second measurement based on the second information; and transmitting the first result and the second result to the second device. As such, a fair comparison between the first and second results can be made, and thus it is helpful for the second device to make a correct mobility decision.

Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to measurement relaxation. In an aspect, a terminal device determines a short discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle and a long DRX cycle configured for the terminal device. Based on at least one of the short DRX cycle or the long DRX cycle, the terminal device determines at least one of (i) whether the terminal device is allowed to relax a measurement, or (ii) a relaxed evaluation period for the measurement. In an aspect, a method for communication comprises receiving, at a terminal device, from a network device an indication for the terminal device to establish a connection with a target cell. The method also comprises determining a condition as to whether the target cell and a transmit beam of the target cell for the terminal device are known to the terminal device. The method also comprises determining, based on the condition, a delay for the terminal device to establish the connection. The method further comprises establishing the connection within the delay. The embodiments of the present disclosure can improve communication performance of a terminal device.

Embodiments of the disclosure provide a method, device and computer readable medium for detecting cells in scenarios of carrier aggregations. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, if the terminal device receives information indicating to connect to a different cell from the currently connecting cell, the terminal device detects the different cell in a spatial direction of the beam on which the information is received. In this way, a significant reduction in terminal device search and measurement effort is achieve, which leads to significant reduction in the latency.
