A hearing aid comprises a) an ITE-part adapted for being located at or in an ear canal of the user, b) a forward path for processing sound from the environment of the user. The forward path comprises b1) at least one first input transducer providing at least one first electric input signal representing said sound as received at the respective at least one first microphone, said at least one first input transducer being located to allow picking up sound from the environment of the user, b2) an audio signal processor comprising a gain unit for applying a frequency and/or level dependent prescribed gain to compensate for a hearing impairment of the user to said at least one first electric input signal, or a signal or signals originating therefrom, and configured to provide a processed signal in dependence thereof, b3) an output transducer for providing stimuli perceivable as sound to the user in dependence of said processed signal. The hearing aid further comprises c) at least one second input transducer providing at least one second electric input signal representing said sound as received at the at least one second input transducer, the at least one second input transducer being located in said ITE-part to pick up sound at the eardrum of the user, d) a correlator configured to determine a correlation measure between the at least one second electric input signal, or a signal originating therefrom, and a signal of the forward path and e) a gain modifier configured to modify said gain of the gain unit in dependence of said correlation measure. Hearing aid comprising an ITE-part adapted to be located in an ear canal of a user

A hearing device adapted for being worn at or in an ear of a user, comprises a) an input unit comprising at last two input transducers each for converting sound around said hearing device to an electric input signal representing said sound, thereby providing at least two electric input signals; b) a beamformer filter comprising a minimum processing beamformer defined by optimized beamformer weights, the beamformer filter being configured to provide a filtered signal in dependence of said at least two electric input signals and said optimized beamformer weights; c) a reference signal representing sound around said hearing device; d) a performance criterion for said minimum processing beamformer. The minimum processing beamformer is a beamformer that provides the filtered signal with as little modification as possible in terms of a selected distance measure compared to said reference signal, while still fulfilling said performance criterion. The optimized beamformer weights are adaptively determined in dependence of said at least two electric input signals, said reference signal, said distance measure, and said performance criterion. A method of operating a hearing device is further disclosed. The invention may e.g. be used in hearing aids or headsets.

The present application relates to a hearing aid adapted to be worn in or at an ear of a hearing aid user and/or to be fully or partially implanted in the head of the hearing aid user. The hearing aid may comprise an input unit for receiving an input sound signal from an environment of a hearing aid user and providing at least one electric input signal representing said input sound signal, an output unit for providing at least one set of stimuli perceivable as sound to the hearing aid user based on processed versions of said at least one electric input signal, a voice activity detector (VAD) configured to determine speech in the input sound signal, an own voice detector (OVD) configured to determine own voice of the hearing aid user in the input sound signal, a processing unit connected to said input unit and to said output unit and comprising signal processing parameters of the hearing aid to provide processed versions of said at least one electric input signal, a turn-taking determining unit configured to determine turn-taking behaviour of the hearing aid user, wherein the processing unit is configured to adjust said signal processing parameters based on the determined turn-taking behavior of the hearing aid user.

A hearing aid comprises a) a multitude of M input transducers each providing an electric input signal representative of environment sound in a time-frequency representation (k, l), and each comprise varying amounts of target (s) and noise (v) signal components; b) a signal processor configured to process said multitude of electric input signals; and comprising a beamformer filter configured to receive said multitude M of electric input signals and to provide a spatially filtered signal and a post-filter configured to receive said spatially filtered signal and to provide an estimate &#x15c;(k,l) of a target signal representing said target signal components from said target sound source. A method of defining and setting a nonlinear signal processing of a hearing device, e.g. a hearing aid, by machine learning is provided. The hearing device being configured to be worn by a user at or in an ear or to be fully or partially implanted in the head at an ear of the user, the method comprising providing at least one electric input signal representing at least one input sound signal from an environment of a hearing device user, determining a normal-hearing representation of said at least one electric input signal based on a normal-hearing auditory model, determining a hearing-impaired representation of said at least one electric input signal based on a hearing-impaired auditory model, determining optimised training parameters by machine learning, where determining optimised training parameters comprises iteratively adjusting the training parameters, and comparing the normal-hearing representation with the hearing-impaired representation to determine a degree of matching between the normal-hearing representation and the hearing-impaired representation, until the degree of matching fulfils predetermined requirements, and, when the degree of matching fulfils the predetermined requirements, determining corresponding signal processing parameters of the hearing device based on the optimised training parameters. The invention relates to a binaural hearing aid device, comprising a first hearing aid and a second hearing aid, respectively. Each hearing aid comprises a microphone unit, a receiver unit, an audio processor and a speaker unit. The microphone unit is configured to receive an acoustic front tone, indicative of a front part of a surround sound, and to convert the acoustic front tone into an electric front signal. The receiver unit is configured to receive a wireless rear communication signal, indicative of a rear part of the surround sound, and to convert the rear communication signal into an electric rear signal.
