A socket body () having a socket space (), which is delimited by a socket wall () and extends along a central axis (M), for receiving a plug pin, the socket space () having a socket opening () via which the plug pin can be pushed into the socket space (), wherein at least one indentation (), viewed in cross-section transversely to the central axis (M), extends through the socket wall () angularly inclined at an angle (α) with respect to the central axis (M) in such a way that at least one spring clip () is formed, which spring clip () is bent into the socket space (), and wherein the spring clip () has at the front an edge () facing the socket space.

Socket body

A socket body () comprises a socket space () which is delimited by a socket wall (), extends along a center axis (M), wherein the socket space () has a socket opening (), which is surrounded by an end surface (). A notch () extends through the socket wall () at an angle (&#x3b1;) to the center axis (M) such that a spring lug () is formed, which spring lug () is bent into the socket opening (). The notch () has a right-hand portion () and a left-hand portion (), wherein a center plane (ME) extends through the center axis (M) centrally between the two portions (). As seen from the outer side of the socket body (), an upper surface () of the notch () intersects exclusively the lateral surface () of the socket wall (), but not the end surface ().

An electrical terminal including a housing ( ) for receiving a contact element ( ) having fork-shaped receptacles and pivotable drive elements ( ). Contact element ( ) has with four receptacles ( ) each designed to connect a conductor. The receptacles as well as the associated drive elements ( ) are configured pairwise in two planes one above the other in order to allow as many as four connections while being of minimum bulk.
