A laser ablation marking system for providing an image to a web of packaging material is provided. The marking system includes at least one marking device having at least one laser having a plurality of individually controlled light outputs arranged in the cross-wise direction of the web of packaging material, each light output having a power output of at least 60 W and being configured to emit light to provide laser ablation, and a controller being connected to the marking device and configured to control the light outputs based on the speed of the web of packaging material such that the emitted light will always hit the web of packaging material at the same angle.

Laser ablation marking system for and a method of providing an image to a web of packaging material

A method for providing crease lines to a packaging material having a bulk layer is provided. The method comprises arranging the material to be creased between an elastic anvil and a pressing tool having at least one protrusive ridge facing the anvil, and pressing the ridge towards the anvil such that the packaging material will be subject to an imprint, whereby the width of the imprint is continuously increasing as the ridge is pressed against the anvil.

Method for providing crease lines

A bulk-based packaging material is provided, comprising at least one crease line for facilitating folding of the packaging material to a package. The at least one crease line is formed as an imprint on a primary side of the packaging material, and as an embossment on a secondary side of the packaging material, wherein the imprint is formed as an elongated groove having a triangular profile.

The present invention relates to a method for visualization of non-visible information on a packaging material to provide traceability. System and method for producing a packaging laminate and packages made from the packaging laminate

Stretch blow molded containers are made from a preform made of a plastic material suitable for stretch blow molding such as, e.g., PET. The preform is heated to a temperature suitable for stretch blow molding and is introduced into a mold. An explosive gas mixture is introduced into the preform with a stretching pressure and the preform is axially stretched with the help of a stretching rod. After stretching, the explosive gas mixture is ignited, the explosion creating a blowing pressure which presses the wall of the preform against the inner wall of the mold so as to impart to the container its definite form. Due to the temperature shock generated by the explosion, the inner surface of the container is simultaneously sterilized.
