A digging system includes a machine having a machine frame, and an implement assembly mounted to the machine frame. The implement assembly includes an elongate boom and a trenching mechanism having a plurality of drawing cutters coupled with an endless drive chain movable about a drive system mounted to an elongate boom. The implement assembly further includes an undercutting mechanism having first and second rotating cutters projecting in opposite axial directions from the distal boom end. The implement assembly defines a compound projection profile in a plane which includes first and second axes of rotation of a drive wheel and guide wheel of the drive system. The compound projection profile includes a relatively narrow proximal stem segment corresponding to the trenching mechanism and a relatively broad distal footing segment corresponding to the undercutting mechanism. Actuating the trenching mechanism and undercutting mechanism enables simultaneously digging a stem segment and footing segment of a compound trench for a foundation system.

An improved arrow and sliding stabilizer therefor are provided. The sliding stabilizer is used for stabilizing arrow flight, instead of fixed or glued tail feathers, vanes or other fletching. The invention improves current projectile technology with reduced assembly labor cost, the elimination of bow clearance issues, improved accuracy with the consistent production of the sliding stabilizer, easy replacement of the stabilizer in the field, and improved arrow storage. A sliding stabilizer is designed to slide along the shaft of an arrow and comprises an annular wing and a plurality of fins. In use, the stabilizer is positioned at the front of the arrow prior to launch, and the arrow slides quickly through the stabilizer until secured at a stop position at or near the trailing end of the arrow.

A corner connector (10) for connecting adjacent first and second spacer sections (20, 22), to form an insulated panel spacer frame includes a first arm (12) joined by a flexible joint (15) to a second arm (14). The second arm includes a recess (44) adjacent the joint, and a deformable projection (46) projecting from an edge of the open face of the recess inwardly toward the bottom of the recess. The first arm includes a securement projection (38) protruding from adjacent the joint (15) that is receivable within the recess of the second arm alongside the deformable projection. The deformable projection is deformed by the securement projection and exerts a compressive force on the securement projection to releasably secure the first and second arms in a desired angular orientation.

Flexible corner connector for insulated glass panel spacer frame

In a spacer frame for use in separating panes of glass of an insulated glass panel, a cornerpiece has first and second arms joined by a flexible hinge to permit angular movement of said arms with respect to one another. The first and second arms each have a first portion that has a cross-sectional area substantially equal to the cross-sectional area of a spacer bar into which they are inserted, and a second portion that protrudes from the spacer bar that is of a cross section larger than said first portion to form a shoulder that is adjacent and abutting the end of the spacer bar. The shoulder is substantially continuous around its perimeter to substantially eliminate moisture paths from outside said spacer bar to the interior of the spacer bar. The folded corner presents an essentially solid mass that prevents moisture from entering the spacer bar. The cornerpiece also includes an angled projection that extends from a first end of the first arm and a slot formed in the first end of the second arm, the projection and slot cooperating with one another to form an interference fit that releasably holds the first and second arms in a desired angular relationship. A first surface of each of said first and second arms has a series of sawtooth-like serrations formed thereon that interferes with an interior surface of the spacer bar to aid in maintaining the arm in the spacer bar.
