The invention essentially relates to a method for the production of a winding of a stator () comprising a body equipped with slots (), comprising: a supply step consisting in supplying a winding unit with a bundle of conductors (); and a pre-forming step consisting in moving the winding unit in relation to the bundle of conductors (), such as to obtain a bundle of conductors () having, for each phase winding (E-E), at least two loop structures () and at least three segment structures (), two of the segment structures () being positioned such that they can be disposed in the same slot () of the stator () and the two loop structures () connecting said two segment structures () stacked on the third segment structure ().
