A connector joins a beam to a joist, the connector has two members with mating portions. The mating members are provided with shoulders that engage each other and transmit gravity loads between the members and engage angled fasteners to make the connection.

Concealed hanger

A take-up system and continuity tie system that uses fire stopping intumescent materials to help prevent and inhibit the travel of fire along the continuity tie system, due to the openings in the members of the building that receive the continuity tie system.

A connection between supporting and supported structural members, particularly between curtain walls and interior support structures, wherein the connector is a member having first portion and a second portion joined at a junction and the second portion is formed with a plurality of elongated slots and the connector rides in a track attached to the first structural member.

Drift track

An improved connection between supporting and supported structural members, particularly between the sheathing and framing members of curtain walls, wherein the connector is an angular member having first and second plates joined at an angular junction and the second plate is formed with a plurality of elongated slots and the fastening in the elongated slot closest to the angular juncture is reinforced.

Slip clip

An improved connection between supported and supporting structural members, particularly for use in structures where the supported member needs to move with respect to the supporting member. The connector has an anchoring leg that allows for the back of the anchoring leg on either side of the sliding leg.

Slide clip connector

An improved connection between supported and supporting structural members, particularly for use in structures where the supported member needs to move with respect to the supporting member. The connector includes a mounting clip and one or more sliders receiving in one or more openings in the mounting clip.

Drift clip

A connection is provided between first and second building structural members, wherein a connector is made up of a stiffener and a connection element, and the stiffener nests within the connection element, and both the stiffener and the connection element are attached to the second building structural member with the same fastener or fasteners, and similarly, both the stiffener and the connection element are attached to the first building structural member with the same fastener or fasteners.

Moment resisting kneewall connector

A connection between metal studs and bridging members using a separate light gauge bridging connector with teardrop-shaped interface notches and longitudinally-offset interface notches.

Teardrop and offset notch bridging connector

A connection between a wall stud, channel-shaped bridging member and connector that resists torsional forces, the connector being suited to interlock with the interior of the bridging member channel and to be fastened to the bridging member outside the channel, depending on the orientation of the bridging member.

Bracing bridging member

A connector with two flanges for making a variety of connections between structural members, in particular cold formed steel structural members, with the added utility of a accommodating a heavy bolted connection to one of the structural members with an extended tab on one flange that matches a recess on the other for optimal material consumption and minimal waste in manufacturing.
