A matched arrow set including a first arrow and a second arrow. The first arrow including: a first shaft, a first bushing coupled to the first shaft, and a first nock received in the first bushing. The second arrow including: a second shaft, a second bushing coupled to the second shaft, and a second nock received in the second bushing. The first shaft and the first bushing define a first weight, the second shaft and the second bushing define a second weight greater than the first weight, and a first arrow weight is substantially the same as a second arrow weight.

High impact strength lighted nock assembly

A high impact strength lighted nock assembly for an arrow that is activated when the arrow is fired with a bowstring. The lighted nock assembly includes a nock molded from a high impact strength, transparent polymeric material containing at least 10% by weight reinforcing fibers. The nock includes a head configured to engage with the bowstring and a shank configured to couple with a rear end of the arrow. The shank includes a recess extending in a distal end of the shank toward the head. A light assembly including a light emitting device is located in the recess in the shank that is electrically coupled to a battery. A switch is electrically coupled to the light emitting device and the battery that is triggered when the arrow is tired to activate the light emitting device.

A high impact strength lighted nock assembly for an arrow that is activated when the arrow is fired with a bowstring. The lighted nock assembly includes a nock molded from a high impact strength, transparent polymeric material containing at least 10% by weight reinforcing fibers. The nock includes a head configured to engage with the bowstring and a shank configured to couple with a rear end of the arrow. The shank includes a recess extending in a distal end of the shank toward the head. A light assembly including a light emitting device is located in the recess in the shank that is electrically coupled to a battery. A switch is electrically coupled to the light emitting device and the battery that is triggered when the arrow is fired to activate the light emitting device.

A system for cocking mechanism for a crossbow that uses an elongated handle pivotally attached to the center support to move a traveler engaged with the draw string from a release configuration to a drawing configuration and into engagement with a trigger assembly. A ratcheting mechanism prevents the elongated handle from moving toward the open configuration as the crossbow is being cocked.

A high impact strength nock assembly that couples with, and decouples from, a bushing mounted in an arrow. The forces applied to the nock during launch are translated to the arrow through the bushing, greatly extending arrow life. For lighted nock applications, the nock translates within the bushing during launch to activate the light. A battery stop is coupled to the battery and releasably coupled within the center opening of the bushing that resists longitudinal translation of the battery relative to the bushing. Consequently, the light can be deactivated without removing the lighted nock assembly from the bushing. The entire lighted nock assembly is removable from the bushing for maintenance and replacement.

A bow sight with at least one sight pin mounted to a frame assembly. At least one optical fiber is attached to the sight pin. The optical fiber is exposed to gather ambient light and to transmit light to a sight point located within the frame assembly. The eye alignment assembly includes an optical structure mounted to the frame assembly including a sight point of an optical fiber located near a proximal end of the optical structure and a lens with alignment indicia located at a distal end of the optical structure. An adjustment system permits the optical structure to be reoriented relative to the frame assembly. The eye alignment assembly provides an indication of orientation of the shooter relative to the bow in at least two degrees of freedom.

Eye alignment assembly

A de-cocking mechanism for a bow having an energy storage assembly mounted to a center support with a draw string that extends across the center support coupled to the energy storage assembly. The bow includes a trigger assembly that retains the draw string in a drawn configuration. The de-cocking mechanism includes a de-cocking actuator that automatically releases the draw string onto the de-cocking mechanism when the de-cocking mechanism engages with the trigger assembly. The user can then manually move the draw string from the drawn configuration to a released configuration. The de-cocking mechanism is preferably combined with a cocking mechanism.

De-cocking mechanism for a bow

An energy storage portion for a bow and a method of configuring the same. At least one first limb has both a distal portion and a proximal portion coupled to the first side of a center support. At least one second limb has both a distal portion and a proximal portion coupled to the second side of the center support. At least one first pulley is attached to the first limb at a location between the distal and the proximal portions of the first limb and at least one second pulley is attached to the second limb at a location between the distal and the proximal portions of the second limb.

Energy storage device for a bow

A bow sight that decouples the shooter's bow cant from elevation adjustments. A segmented support assembly includes a proximal portion and a distal portion. The proximal portion is configured to attach to the bow. The distal portion is rotatably attached to the proximal portion and configured to rotate around a Y-axis relative to the proximal portion. A micro-adjust controls the rotational position around the Y-axis of the distal portion relative to the proximal portion. An elevation assembly is attached to the distal portion. A bezel assembly is attached to the elevation assembly. The elevation adjustment moves the bezel assembly along a substantially vertical axis while the bow is held at a bow cant greater than zero. The micro-adjust decouples the shooter's bow cant from operation of the elevation assembly. A windage assembly is optionally located between the elevation assembly and the distal portion.

Multi-axis bow sight

A bow press for deflecting bow limbs of a bow. Inside and outside support members are provided to engage the bow limbs and/or riser on the bow. Rotating support members roll on outside surfaces of the bow limbs to deflect the bow limbs toward the center portion in response to the actuator mechanism is extended.

A sighting device for a bow that includes a support assembly adapted to attach to the bow. A bezel assembly is attached to the support assembly. The bezel assembly includes a micro-adjust with a lead screw located adjacent to a bezel opening. A plurality of pin carriers each include a slider selectively moveable between an engaged position coupled to the lead screw and a disengaged position. As a result, each pin carrier is adapted to be selectively and independently displaced or not displaced by rotation of the micro-adjust. A plurality of sight pins are coupled to the pin carriers. Each sight pin includes a sight point at a distal end located in the bezel opening and a proximal end coupled to one of the pin carriers. The sight points are adapted to align the bow with a target viewed through the bezel opening.

Pin array adjustment system for multi-axis bow sight

A targeting system for a bow is disclosed. A laser rangefinder is offset from a designated pin on the bow sight such that a theoretical line of sight for the designated pin intersects with a rangefinder laser beam emitted by the laser rangefinder at a preset distance. An adjustment mechanism is provided that permits the position of the laser rangefinder relative to the bow to be adjusted such that the rangefinder laser beam and a user's actual line of sight along the designated pin intersect at a target located at the preset distant. The designated pin permits the user to aim the laser rangefinder at a selected target and adjust an elevation of the bow to an angle corresponding at least approximately to a range to the selected target displayed by the laser rangefinder. In one embodiment, the rangefinder laser and the bow sight form a unitary bow sight assembly. In another embodiment, electronics and other components associated with operation of the laser rangefinder are incorporated into a bow sight housing to form a unitary bow sight assembly that does not need to be operably connected to a bow mounting bracket for the supply of power or electrical signals thereto.
