A portable vehicle lift and methods of using the same is provided. The lift includes a power system, a control system, one or more batteries, and a battery management system. The control system controls the power system. The one or more batteries powers the power system. The battery management system (BMS) is configured to monitor data about the one or more batteries. The BMS may be configured to connect and/or disconnect the one or more batteries, or one or more individual battery cells, based on the data. The data may include current flowing into or out of the one or more batteries, the voltage of the one or more batteries, the level of charge of the one or more batteries, the temperature of the one or more batteries, the life expectancy of the one or more batteries, or the like.

Wireless vehicle lift system with enhanced electronic controls

A vehicle lift system configured for wireless charging is disclosed. The vehicle lift system includes a vehicle lift and a light transmitter. The vehicle lift includes a base, a carriage, a lift actuator, a battery, and a photovoltaic receiver. The carriage is configured for receiving a wheel of a vehicle. The lift actuator is configured to vertically raise and lower the carriage relative to the base. The battery is configured to provide electrical energy to the vehicle lift. The photovoltaic receiver is electrically coupled with the battery. The light transmitter is configured for transmitting electrical energy to said photovoltaic receiver. Thus, the battery of the vehicle lift can be recharged wirelessly, such that the vehicle lift need not have a wired power connection.

Wireless vehicle lift charging using light

A vehicle lift system incorporating one or more lift control modules having an advanced operating platform. The lift control module includes a user interface for receiving user instructions from a user, at least one control module processor, and a non-transitory computer-readable medium with an advanced operating platform stored thereon. The computer readable medium includes a first application operable executable by the advanced operating platform. The first application directs the control module processor to provide instructions to the vehicle lift to control the vehicle lift based on the user instructions. The computer readable medium further includes a second application executable by the advanced operating platform. The second application directs the control module processor to perform certain steps, with such certain steps not directed to controlling the vehicle lift. Furthermore, the advanced operating platform is configured to execute said first application and said second application simultaneously.

A remote control system for remotely controlling a vehicle lift. The remote control system may comprise a lift control module and a remote computing device. The lift control module may be configured to receive information indicative of an instruction to pair the lift control module with a computing device and to present a validation code. The remote computing device may be configured to receive information indicative of an instruction to pair the remote computing device with the lift control module and to receive the validation code presented by the lift control module. Upon validating the received validation code, the remote computing device may be configured to be paired with the lift control module.

A self-synchronizing wheel lift system configured to lift a vehicle using compressed air. The lift system comprises a plurality of pneumatic wheel lifts and a lift control system. A vehicle lift comprising a vertically-orientated column and a pair of swing arms vertically-shiftable with respect to the post. The swing arms are configured to rotate with respect to the column. The vehicle lift additionally includes a sensor associated with each swing arm. Each sensor is configured to obtain information related to its respective swing arm. Each sensor is also associated with a radio-frequency identification (RFID) tag, with the RFID tag being configured to provide power to its respective sensor. The vehicle lift further includes a system controller in communication with the sensors and configured to control the vehicle lift based on the information obtained by the sensors.
