A spouted container () constructed in accordance with a preferred embodiment of the present invention and configured for storing fluids and transferring the stored fluids to a fluid receiving receptacle such as a lawn mower fluid reservoir (R) is disclosed. The illustrated spouted container () broadly includes a storage container (), a self-venting spout () removably coupled to the container (), a collar () for removably coupling the spout () to the container (), and a cap () for closing the spout () and/or the container (). The collar () cooperates with an inventive sealing disc () and a neck () to create a gasket-less seal between the spout () and the storage container () that is adjustable yet prevents undesirable fluid leakage when the spout () is in either a pour or a storage position. The spout () is a self-venting spout that includes an air-venting passageway () formed in part by a flange (). The inventive flanged configuration of the passageway () diverts fluid away from the distal-most end () of the passageway () thereby enabling fluid to not only smoothly flow, but also to rapidly flow out of the internal chamber () under the influence of gravity when the spout () is open in the pour position and the storage container () is at least partially inverted.

Self-venting spout

Combination tandem axle wheel chock and trailer tongue stand

A wheel chock () configured for placement under a resting rubber tired wheel (W), such as a wheel found on a powered vehicle, to maintain the wheel (W) at rest is disclosed. The wheel chock () broadly includes a body () that defines an internal chamber () in communication with an open face () presented by the body (). The body () presents a prism-like configuration having a generally triangular shape and includes a pair of oppositely spaced sidewalls (), a rear wall () extending between and adjoining the sidewalls (), and a wheel-supporting surface () extending between and thereby enclosing the walls (). The wheel-supporting surface () presents a low profile, arcuate leading tire-engaging edge (). The arcuate leading edge () substantially complements the contour of the tire and enables the chock () to be easily placed under the wheel (W) in an optimal operating position i.e., in close adjacent alignment with the wheel (W) so that at least a portion of the majority of the circumferentially extending treads of the rubber tire of the wheel (W) engage at least a portion of the chock () with a minimal exertion of force and effort by the user. The internal chamber () in communication with the open face () enables the body () of the chock () to be stackably nested within another similarly configured wheel chock to provide a compact, space-efficient storage of the chocks that facilitates ready portability for transportation of a pair or more of the chocks in the vehicle.

Wheel chock

A pair of wheel chocks (), configured for placement under a resting tandem wheel (W) to maintain the wheel (W) at rest and for alternatively supporting a trailer tongue wheel (W), are disclosed. The wheel chock () broadly includes a body () that defines an internal chamber () in communication with an open face () presented by the body (). Wheel supporting surface () each include a arcuate leading edge () to complement the contour of the wheel (W) and enable the chock () to be easily placed under the wheel (W) in an optimal position. A top surface () of the body () including an arcuate depression () operable to receive the trailer tongue wheel (W). A substantially hollow tapered supporting leg () projects from arcuate depression () for support. The top surface additionally includes an open rim () which can at least partially receive a supporting leg of another similar configured wheel chock () to enable nesting of the chocks ().

A collapsible pet carrier () includes a base () with a shiftable frame () movable between a collapsed position and an extended use position; the carrier also has a flexible cover () which, with the base, forms a pet enclosure. The cover () has an animal doorway () as well as optional see-through windows (). The frame () is preferably formed of flexible and resilient shape memory material allowing the frame to self-erect when unrestrained, without any manual manipulation or other intervention. Also, the carrier () preferably includes a top () which mates with the base to form a carrier housing, which restrains the popup frame () to retain it within the carrier housing. The top () may also be inverted and secured to the base () during use.

Pop-up pet carrier

The illustrated spouted container () broadly includes a storage container (), a self-venting spout () removably coupled to the container (), a collar () for removably coupling the spout () to the container (), and a cap () for closing the spout () and/or the container (). A wildlife feeder has a generally tubular, upright housing or base unit that is designed to remain permanently attached to its means of support, such as an upstanding post or an overhead hanger, while refillable feed cartridges are readily removed from the housing as need be for refilling or cleaning. In its preferred form, the housing has a pair of internal, upright retaining sockets at its opposite ends that receive a pair of cylindrical, transparent cartridges. The cartridges are open at the top and closed at the bottom, with dispensing ports in the sidewalls thereof. A pair of tall window openings at opposite ends of the housing provide both unimpeded visual examination of the feed level of the cartridges from remote locations and means for removing the cartridges from and reinserting them into the housing. A simple lift and pivot action of the cartridge permits the user to release the cartridge from its holding socket and to withdraw it from the housing, while reinsertion is a simple reversal of the process.

Bird feeder

A highly styled pet carrier having a housing defined by a body which body has upper and lower portions attached together through mating trackways with the line of attachment being inclined upwardly from the front of the body to the rear of the body to present an aesthetically pleasing, functional article. The pet carrier has a front door, in one embodiment, which is swung upwardly and horizontally inwardly so that it is retained within the interior of the housing unopened. In a further embodiment a recess in the top wall of the upper portion of the body may serve as a storage compartment with a swingable closure door or, in the alternative, as an access opening into the interior of the housing, the access opening being closed by a swingable closure grille. A pulling handle on the top wall of the upper portion of the housing cooperates with wheels on the bottom wall of the lower portion of the housing to prevent the pet carrier to be pulled over a surface or, in the alternative, a carrying handle may be provided on the top wall of the upper portion of the body which defines the housing.
