A pallet washing apparatus and its associated methodology, wherein all of the pallets in a vertical stack of pallets are cleaned simultaneously, the stack being vertically expanded to provide a separation distance between each pallet, with each pallet then being delivered onto individual conveyors passing through washing, rinsing and drying stations, such that cleaning spray may be directed against all surfaces of each pallet, all of the pallets then being restacked for removal in a single stack.

A pedal adjuster which may be used with a pedal device such as a bicycle or stationary bicycle and which allows a user to tilt pedals relative to the horizontal plane in order to accommodate a foot that is everted or inverted relative to the vertical midline of the user's body. The illustrated embodiment of this invention includes an outer tube with a plurality of locking pin holes and a means for attachment to a crank arm, an inner rod housed coaxially within the outer tube and having a means for attachment to a pedal and a means for adjustably positioning the inner rod within the outer tube.

An apparatus for straight-lining construction material comprises an extension coupled to a rip fence and a carrier assembly coupled to the top of the extension, in which the carrier assembly travels along the extension to deliver the material to a saw blade. The carrier assembly comprises a sled, a plurality of clamp assemblies and a guide, the sled and the plurality of adjustable clamp assemblies coupled to the guide. The guide has a recess receiving the extension. Each one of the plurality of clamp assemblies secures the material in position.

A sports equipment cart includes a first ball dispensing tube having upper and lower ends and defining a bore extending therebetween. The first ball dispensing tube defines an upper ball receiving aperture and a lower ball dispensing aperture. A pair of wheels are rotatably mounted to the first ball dispensing tube adjacent the lower end thereof. The first ball dispensing tube includes a handle for manually pulling the tube between desired locations. A second ball dispensing tube of substantially similar dimensions may be connected to the first ball dispensing tube in side-by-side relationship. A third ball dispensing tube of smaller dimension may also be connected to the first dispensing tube for holding smaller sized balls.

A method of and apparatus for capturing and processing Continuous media-based data streams transmitted over an IEEE 1394 serial bus manages the use of both receive buffers and process buffers in order to minimize the amount of captured data that is discarded due to unavailable process buffers. When receiving a stream of continuous data. the data is captured and stored within a current receive buffer. When the current receive buffer is full. the captured data within the receive buffer is then read out, processed and stored within a process buffer, if a process buffer is available on a cached list of process buffers. When Full of processed data, the process buffer is then transferred to an application for utilization or further processing of the processed data. If the process buffer is not completely filled, then the process buffer is added back to the cached list of process buffers. If a receive buffer is tilled and no process buffer is available or if there are already filled receive buffers on a cached list of receive buffers, the filled receive buffer is then added to the cached list of receive buffers. When a process buffer is then available, the data within the earliest filled receive buffer on the cached list of receive buffers is processed and transferred to the available process buffer. If the receive buffer is not emptied, the receive buffer is then put back on the cached list of receive buffers. When the cached list of receive buffers includes a predetermined number of buffers. the data within the earliest filled receive buffer on the cached list of receive buffers is discarded. thereby emptying the receive buffer. The emptied receive buffer is then added to the series of available receive buffers to receive the current captured data.

A golf club has a long shaft with two grips. The club head loft is about 30 degrees, and the sole descends smoothly downward at about 12 degrees from the striking face to a rear edge. The angle from horizontal to the grip axis is 80 degrees, placing the club head close to the golfer's feet. The golfer stands erect and swings the club with an upper grip-to-chest control to hit the ball up for chip shots.

A device for sensing the amount of force applied to teeth during brushing. The device consists of a single toothbrush holder in which a toothbrush is pivotally supported by means of teeth and spring rib. A metal spring is arranged to provide an adjustable resistance force against pivotal movement of the toothbrush. A conventional light pen is employed to sense and indicate the pivotal movement.
