The present invention provides methods and systems for a sleep device that includes a core having a top portion, a bottom portion, a top side, a bottom side, a first side, and a second side. A first padded surface covers the top portion of the core, and a second padded surface covers the bottom portion of the core. The top side is generally linear and extends to a first end and a second end on either side of the top side, a first side extends downwardly from the first end and a second side extends downwardly from a second end, the first end and second end extends downwardly to a bottom side, wherein the bottom side contains two-spaced apart knobs and centrally located cavity between the two spaced-apart knobs.

Sleep device

The present application describes a material dosing system. The material dosing system may include a material source and a dosing block. The dosing block may include a first aperture positioned on a first side and a second aperture positioned on a second side. The dosing block further may include a sliding plate positioned between the first side and the second side and having a dosing aperture movable between the first aperture and the second aperture. A coupling may connect the material source and the first aperture of the dosing block.

Coffee dosing system

A flight lug is provided for releasable attachment to a conveyor belt. The lug comprises a base and first and second side walls mounted to opposite edge surfaces of the base such that the base extends between and interconnects the side walls intermediate upper and lower ends of the side walls. Flanges extend inwardly from adjacent the lower ends of the side walls. Each flange defines a slot between the flange and the lower surface of the base for receiving an edge of the belt. The first side wall is pivotally attached to the base for movement relative to the base between a first position where the flange on the lower end of the first side wall is spaced a first distance from the flange on the lower end of the second side wall for allowing the belt to fit between the flanges, and a second position where the flanges on the side walls are spaced apart a second distance which is less than the width of the belt for capturing the belt in the slots between the side walls.

Flight lug

A container carrier is provided for use with a plurality of containers. The container carrier comprises a substantially planar flexible platform having a top, a bottom, an outer perimeter and an inner region including a handle and a plurality of container-engaging portions. The handle is made by forming two generally triangularly shaped openings through the sheet on opposite sides of and equally distant from the central axis of the sheet, the material between the openings comprising a strap. Two inwardly opening U-shaped openings are formed around the ends of the strap such that the central axis of the sheet is the line of symmetry of the U-shaped openings. The portion of the sheet bordered by the U-shaped openings comprises a first hinge and a second hinge integral with the first end and second end of the strap, respectively, which permit the strap to be flexed upwardly above the plane of the platform and provide access to the strap. A plurality of container-engaging portions integral with the inner region of the platform are provided. Each container-engaging portion defines an opening through the platform and has a plurality of spaced notches extending radially outwardly of the perimeter of the container-engaging opening forming a plurality of collars for releasably engaging the containers.

Container carrier

A one piece foldable eating utensil having a food holding section and a handle with a pair of reduced thickness portions forming flexible hinges for folding into a packaged position for accompanying a food product and a useable position for consuming the food product.

A vented closure is provided in which a PTFE membrane layer comprises a vent for releasing accumulated gas pressure. The membrane is carried on a structural support which may vary from a fabric type backing to a porous plastic stem, the support permitting a variety of improved vent architecture to be utilized including vents with reduced material requirements, improved geometry, and better handling characteristics.

Ventable cap

A method of compacting a bill from a flat state into a pleated and wound state for position the bill in a cavity of an associated closure includes providing a bill in a substantially flat state and pleating the bill in a first direction to provide a series of substantially similar pleats. The pleated bill is compacted to set the pleats therein and at least partially wound into a generally circular configuration. The wound bill is positioned within the cavity of the associated closure. An apparatus for compacting and winding the bill and positioning the bill in the closure cavity includes a pleating station for pleating the bill in a predetermined configuration and a compacting station for compacting the pleated bill into a compacted state. The apparatus further includes a winding station having a winding member adapted to engage the compacted bill and to wind the bill into a generally circular orientation. A discharge region is adapted to move the wound bill from the winding station and to position the bill in the closure cavity.

Method and apparatus for compacting and winding flat stock

A flexible handle for a container having unitary construction which has a substantially flat profile with a strap attached to flexible hinges and which can be secured flush with a surface of a container.

Lift-up handle

A rotatable handle for a container is provided by sonic welding an inner disk to an outer strip of a handle, the disk permitting the rotation of the handle and providing a seal for the container openings through which the handle is connected.

Sonically welded handle

A continuous motion apparatus for installing handles onto cartons includes a handle dispenser and a handle conveyor. The handle conveyor comprises a track associated with an overhead belt in a pronged pick-up arm. The pick-up arm inserts through a handle and carries a handle to a surface of the carton, where a pair of rollers in a curved plow engage the handle and force it from the pick-up arm. The arm rotates in time sequence with the belt.

Process for applying a handle

A sliding and rotatable handle assembly for a container is provided by sonic welding an inner disk to an outer strip of a handle, the disk providing a flexible tongue which permits the rotation and sliding of the handle with respect to container openings through which the handle is connected.

Slide weld handle

A process for forming, handling, affixing, and inverting a thin plastic half bag to a continuous inner side wall of an outer plastic container. A non-metallic mandrel is used as a tool for thermoforming a half bag over the top of the mandrel. The top of the mandrel with bag attached is inserted into an open end of the outer plastic container. A continuous stripe of heat-activated adhesive containing metal particles is bonded to the exterior of the half bag at the open end of the half bag. When the half bag is inserted, the stripe of adhesive is positioned near the midpoint of the container. A magnetic induction field generated near the container midpoint heats the metal particles in the heat-activated adhesive, thereby activating the adhesive. When the adhesive has been heated, compressed air is blown from the mandrel to press the bag and adhesive against the inner side wall of the outer container to cause bonding between them. After the field is removed and the adhesive cools, the mandrel is withdrawn from the thin plastic bag. Vacuum applied to the closed end of the bag from the top of the mandrel causes the bag to be inverted to the open end of the container as the mandrel is withdrawn.

Method for sealing an inner bag to an outer container

A process for forming, handling, circumferentially sealing, and inverting a thin plastic half bag to an inwardly tapered, continuous inner side wall of an outer plastic container. A non-metallic mandrel is used as a tool for thermoforming a half bag over the top of the mandrel. The top of the mandrel with bag attached is inserted into an open end of the outer plastic container. A continuous metal ring connected at the circumference of the mandrel, positioned near the open end of the half bag, wedges the bag against the tapered inner side wall of the container near the midpoint of the container to form a sealing interface therebetween. A magnetic induction field generated near the container heats the metal ring on the mandrel. Heat is conducted to the sealing interface to weld the bag to the container. After the field is removed and the metal ring cools, the mandrel with metal ring is withdrawn from the thin plastic bag. Vacuum applied to the closed end of the bag from the top of the mandrel causes the bag to be inverted to the open end of the container as the mandrel is withdrawn.

Method for induction sealing an inner bag to an outer container

A generally continuous strip of thermoplastic material is cold formed into a desired preformed configuration while retaining continuity with the generally continuous strip to form a chain of preformed configurations remaining continuous with the generally continuous strip of thermoplastic material. End portions of the chain are severed so as to form a cartridge of preformed configurations to be used in the formation of a cartridge of fitments.

Fitment forming process

A reversible latching means for a recloseable container which has a plurality of tabs being deformed from a plane of the latching means in order to engage a plurality of notches on the container.
