In one aspect, the present disclosure provides a housing for a vacuum filter assembly. The housing may include a top piece with an upper portion defining a top wall of a cavity and a generally circular perimeter forming a side wall of the cavity. The perimeter of the top piece may be configured to receive a filter member. An input aperture may extend through the top piece and may be arranged for communication with the cavity. A spindle may extend into the cavity from the top wall of the cavity such that a material drawn into the cavity by a vacuum force moves in a spiral vortex through the cavity about the spindle.

Filter system

The present disclosure provides a housing for a vacuum filter assembly. The housing may include a top piece with an upper portion defining a top wall of a cavity and a generally circular perimeter forming a side wall of the cavity. The perimeter of the top piece may be configured to receive a filter member. An input aperture may extend through the top piece and may be arranged for communication with the cavity. A spindle may extend into the cavity from the top wall of the cavity such that a material drawn into the cavity by a vacuum force moves in a spiral vortex through the cavity about the spindle.

A filter assembly for use with a vacuum apparatus and a hair clipper is disclosed. The assembly includes a top piece, a bottom piece, and a filter member. The top piece is formed having a generally circular perimeter with an inlet aperture located on the perimeter such that the inlet aperture is adapted for tangential acceptance of a vacuum hose. The specific arrangement of components, including the tangential position of the aperture, creates a hair collecting vortex within the assembly when a vacuum source is attached and activated.

A system for clipping and removing hair clippings from a clipped site is disclosed. The system includes a suction member having an integrated blade member, a hose member in communication with the suction member, and a vacuum source connected to the hose member. This device is particularly useful for use in clipping and removing the hair clippings from shaved surgical patients in a manner that prevents the hair clippings from falling into the patient's surroundings.

System and method for hair clipping and removal

A method of collecting cut hair is disclosed. The steps include providing a vacuum source and a filter assembly having a top piece, a bottom piece, and a filter member. The assembly has a generally circular perimeter. A vacuum is applied to the assembly interior, and the cut hairs are moved through the aperture and into the assembly. The cut hairs are circulated in a collecting vortex and collected on the filter member.

A two-cylinder air compressor has a motor with a through drive shaft. Identical housings are provided at each end of a cylindrical spacer sleeve that surrounds the motor. The housings include cylinder housing extensions each of which mounts a cylinder sleeve, a valve plate, and a head. The heads are part of a one-piece cylinder head member. Wobble pistons are mounted on each end of the motor shaft and operate in the cylinder sleeves. The cylinder sleeves rest on a floor in the housing which has integrally formed passages for cooling air to circulate around the cylinder sleeves. The one-piece cylinder head member includes integral tubes connecting the heads. The integral tubes span the distance between the heads and are spaced from the outside of the spacer. The housings may be joined by through bolts or without bolts by press fitting the bearings in the housing, press fitting the housings to the spacer sleeve, and press fitting the motor shaft into the bearings. The one-piece cylinder head serves as the final retention member, clamping the housings axially while maintaining radial orientation.

Two-cylinder air compressor

A combined seat and back rest assembly for a bathing enclosure wherein a combined seat and back rest member is hingedly positioned in the enclosure so that it is contained within the enclosure when the seat and back rest member is in a seating position. In a preferred manner, there is a recess in a wall of the enclosure and the hinges for connecting the seat and back rest member are located therein along with the seat and back rest member when in the back rest position. Also preferably, there is a spring biased hinge to provide positive retention of the seat and back rest member in the seating or back rest position. The seat and back rest assembly is particularly suited for a bathing enclosure with an entrance door.
