An assembly for a surgical arm includes a tool to position a prosthesis and an end effector. The tool has a tool shaft extending along a tool axis and a tool engagement surface. The end effector has a mount attachable to the surgical arm, a body portion extending from the mount, a distal end, and a guide portion is at the distal end of the body portion to receive the tool. The guide portion has a pair of arms, each arm extending to an arm end and the arm ends are spaced apart from one another to provide an opening between the arm ends. A channel is formed between the arms and extends along a guide axis. The arms define an arc-shaped guide engagement surface to enable contact with the tool engagement surface for facilitating alignment of the tool axis and the guide axis.

Systems, methods, and end effectors for guiding prostheses

A robotic surgical system includes a robotic arm comprising a plurality of links and joints, an end effector, and a mounting assembly for coupling the end effector and the robotic arm. The mounting assembly includes a robot mount associated with the robotic arm and an end effector mount associated with the end effector. The mounting assembly also includes a sterile barrier assembly including a coupling and kinematic couplers. A first lock assembly releasably secures the coupling to the robot mount and a second lock assembly releasably secures the end effector mount to the coupling. A tensioner associated with either mount is movable between a first position and a second position such that the kinematic couplers engage with, and provide a kinematic coupling between, the mounts through the sterile barrier assembly to constrain six degrees of freedom of movement between the mounts.

A mounting system for coupling first and second surgical components. The mounting system comprises a first mounting portion associated with the first surgical component, a second mounting portion associated with the second surgical component and comprising a tensioner movable between a first position and a second position, and a sterile barrier assembly. The sterile barrier assembly comprises a coupling configured to releasably secure to the first mounting portion and to releasably receive the second mounting portion when the tensioner of the second mounting portion is in the first position, and a plurality of kinematic couplers configured to engage the mounting portions and arranged to provide a kinematic coupling between the mounting portions through the sterile barrier assembly to constrain six degrees of freedom of movement between the surgical components when the tensioner of the second mounting portion is in the second position.

An end effector for impacting a prosthesis at a surgical site along a trajectory maintained by a surgical robot. The end effector comprises an impactor assembly and a guide. The impactor assembly has a head to receive impact force, an interface to releasably attach to the prosthesis, a shaft extending along an impactor axis between the head and the interface, and an impactor engagement surface disposed between the head and the interface. The guide is adapted to attach to the surgical robot and comprises a channel extending along a guide axis and defining an opening arranged to receive a portion of the shaft of the impactor assembly, a guide engagement surface shaped to abut the impactor engagement surface, and a limiter to maintain abutment of the impactor engagement surface with the guide engagement surface to facilitate coaxial alignment of the axes with the trajectory maintained by the surgical robot.

End effectors, systems, and methods for impacting prosthetics guided by surgical robots

An electronic shower system including a mixing valve operably coupled to a mixing valve drive, and a diverter valve operably coupled to a diverter valve drive and in fluid communication with the mixing valve. A controller is in communication with the mixing valve drive and the diverter valve drive. A user interface includes a removable module in communication with the controller.

A reconfigurable bin system for dispensing units, the system having a platform bin and a base member with load cells configured to support the platform bin. The platform bin itself comprises a platform plate, an optional front gate, a rear wall, and a plurality of side walls extending from the front of the platform plate to the rear wall so as to form an open-top bin. The platform plate includes a front flange disposed below the upper surface to define a trough extending across the front of the platform plate. Each of the plurality of side walls includes a rear tab received within a slot in the rear wall and a depending front tab received within the trough. A cap member may be removably secured over the trough to capture the depending front tabs within the trough, thereby securing the plurality of side walls in place.

Load cell bin system

A system for detecting vehicle deceleration having an accelerometer, a processing arrangement, and a deceleration indicator. The processing unit samples data from the accelerometer, and based on that data, determines if the vehicle is braking or otherwise decelerating. If the vehicle is braking or otherwise decelerating in excess of a threshold, the deceleration indicator is activated.

System and method for deceleration detection and signaling in vehicles

In accordance with the present invention, a training device is provided for training animals to perform or refrain from performing a target activity. The training device includes a reward dispenser that is capable of dispensing a reward to an animal being trained upon receiving a reward dispensing command. The reward dispensing command includes a hopper for holding a quantity of rewards. The hopper includes an entrance port for receiving rewards and an exit port through which rewards can be dispensed. The reward dispenser also includes a delivery assembly for controllably delivering rewards from the hopper to the exit port, the delivery members being placeable in contact with the rewards to be delivered. A motor member is provided that is capable of maintaining the delivery members in a static position to prevent the delivery of a reward, and moving the delivery member to deliver at least one reward to the exit port. The delivery member includes at least one bristle-containing member. A controller is provided that is capable of receiving a command and actuating the motor upon receipt of the command to move the delivery member to thereby dispense a reward to the exit port.

Animal training device and methods therefor

A device remote control system configured for use with an automobile remote keyless entry is disclosed herein. The device is specifically configured for use in association with a remote keyless entry key fob. The key fob is operable to transmit at least one automobile instruction signal, such as a door lock signal, door unlock signal, trunk release signal, or other automobile instruction signal. The device comprises a receiver, a processor, and a transmitter. The receiver is configured to receive the automobile instruction signal transmitted by the key fob and deliver the signal to the processor. The processor analyzes the signal and determines whether it is an appropriate signal indicating that a device such as a garage door should be opened or closed. The transmitter is configured to transmit a device operation signal in response to the processor when the processor indicates that the device should be operated.

Remote control system configured for use with automobile remote keyless entry

A method and monitoring system for tracking operational parameters of a drive train of a monitored system includes a sensor unit affixed to the drive train. The sensor unit includes a sensor for generating an analog signal in response to an operating condition of the monitored system and an integrated local processor for processing the analog signal generated by the sensor. Actions of a sensor unit associated that is mounted from movement of a component of the drive system may be initiated via wireless receipt of instructions from another processing unit.

Data acquisition system for system monitoring

A method and monitoring system for tracking operational parameters of a drive train of a monitored system includes a sensor unit affixed to the drive train. The sensor unit includes a sensor for generating an analog signal in response to an operating condition of the monitored system and an integrated local processor for processing the analog signal generated by the sensor.

A vehicle lift has a communication and/or a lift control assembly, including a processor, which is functional to control the raising and lowering of the lift and to enable the display of, and communication of, a variety of lift data. The vehicle lift includes sensors in communication with the control, where the pre-programmed processor recognizes and categorizes lift data and lift faults before sending warnings, notices, and other lift data to lift users, maintenance providers, or a central headquarters. The visual display unit of the assemblies may include a processor and may be detachable or adjustable.

A vehicle lift has an electronic control which is functional to control the raising and lowering of the lift and to enable the display of a variety of information regarding the operation of the lift. The electronic control includes control logic which generates an operation fault indication signal based on the application of predetermined criteria to operation conditions, with concomitant display of data indicative of the operation fault indication signal accompanied by inhibiting or altering raising or lowering of the lift. The electronic control also includes maintenance control logic which generates a maintenance condition indication signal to enable generation of maintenance notice data. A vehicle service system includes a network placing controls of such vehicle lifts in communication with each other or a central computer processor.
