A fountain toy comprising a channel defining first and second openings and a conduit adjacent to the channel defining a downward delay path. The conduit includes a first opening near the top of the channel and a second opening communicating with the second opening of the channel. An intake portal for transferring liquid from an external source is coupled to a nozzle located adjacent to the base of the channel. When the external source provides liquid to the intake portal, the liquid travels through the nozzle and flows upward and out of the channel in a laminar flow. A spherical game piece is placed by a user in the first opening of the conduit, where it travels through the conduit. When the game piece reaches the bottom of the conduit, the game piece enters the channel and is carried by the stream of liquid through the channel and out of the fountain to be suspended in the air.

Interactive toy fountain

A pool plug (10) is disclosed comprising a plunger member (12) and a base member (14). The base member (14) is cylindrical having an axial passageway (30) therethrough and opposed annular skirt flanges (32,36) projecting toward each other from opposite rims (26,28) of the member (14). The flange (32) collapses diametrically to allow the base member (14) to be inserted into a panel aperture, and skirt flange (36) depresses to a point that the lower flange (32) is free to open up and resume its original form, capturing the panel between the flanges (32,36). Composed of elastomeric plastic, the flanges (32,36) flex to allow use of the plug in pool panels having a thickness variable within a specified range. The plunger member (12) reciprocally moves upward and downward within the passageway (20) and includes ports (54) that open and close in response thereto. An inwardly directed annular sealing flange (40) engages the plunger member (12) to seal the plunger when it is pushed downward into a closed position.

Plug for swimming pool

A drive wheel assembly (10) for a toy vehicle includes an axle (11), a wheel (13) and a bushing (12) insertable into the hub (30) of the wheel (13). The hub (30) is provided with a generally axial aperture (32) communicating with a tapered aperture (34). The bushing (12) has a generally axial aperture (19) therein to receive the axle (11) therethrough. The bushing (12) also includes an expandable annular locking member (24) at the end thereof which, as the axle (11) is being inserted in the aperture (19), expands to engage the inner walls of the tapered aperture (34).
