A system for applying relatively large adhesive backed bandages to a patient for a wound dressing, burn dressing, surgical incise drape, etc. The system includes an applicator handle that is substantially less flexible than the bandage, which is joinable to the bandage during application, but which is removed from the bandage so as not to interfere with the flexible functioning of such bandage on a patient's anatomy.

System and method for bandaging a patient

A frame for spreading relatively large adhesive backed bandages into a generally flat configuration for applying to a patient. Such bandages might be for a wound dressing, burn dressing, surgical incise drape, etc. The frame is attached to the bandage when the bandage is being stuck to the patient, but the frame is removed so as not to interfere with subsequent movement of the patient's anatomy.

Bandage frame and method

A top and spinning mechanism, the top having an enlarged body portion and a stub base portion with an irregular configuration for coacting with a sleeve member of a top spinning mechanism, the sleeve member being configured for releasably receiving therein the stub base portion, rotation of the sleeve member rotating the top with a release lever on the top spinning mechanism manually operable for axially sliding the sleeve out of engagement with the base portion with the release lever having an arm member contacting the body of the top for directing the top onto a playing surface.

Spinning top pinball-type game

A pinball-type game utilizing a spinning top actuated by a high speed spinning mechanism, release of the top onto a playing surface having a number of obstacles propelling the top against a scoring mechanism having a rocker arm which, upon impact, through a pawl device rotates a scoring indicator. The scoring indicator is provided with a spring clutch to enable the indicator to return to zero. 'Flippers' are provided to redirect the spinning top along the playing surface.

A noisemaking toy, more particularly, a simulated firecracker is presented which includes an elongate hollow cylindrical body and an elongated cord extending from one end; a piston assembly located within the body attached to the cord; a compression spring is provided for driving the piston; and a cap detonating assembly is located at the remote end of the body, the assembly containing a trigger mechanism which extends within the cylinder in the path of travel of the piston; and a sound generating means for emitting a whistle is coupled to the piston; whereby withdrawal of the cord to retract the piston and compress the spring, followed by release of the cord, allows the piston to travel forward along the axis of the body at a controlled rate, providing a whistling sound for a predetermined interval of time followed by the actuation of the cap detonating means.
