A payment method includes obtaining, by a platform application running on a terminal, order information from a web page corresponding to a merchant, sending the order information to a backend server by using the web page, obtaining a preparatory order number from the web page, and calling a payment application running on the terminal to complete a payment procedure with the backend server according to the preparatory order number. The merchant accesses the platform application through the web page. The preparatory order number is generated by the backend server according to the order information and is sent to the web page.

A method and a device are provided for ascertaining the time required to fully charging a battery of the device. The device ascertains the type of power supply being used when charging the device by ascertaining the time required to fully charge the device based on a historical charging speed and an empirical charging speed corresponding to the power supply's type. Using the method and device provided by the present disclosure can ascertain the required charging time with more accuracy.

The method includes: acquiring respective service plan information of a first service plan and a second service plan for a service offered by one or more service providers, the respective service plan information for each of the first and second service plans including a respective set of service variables; acquiring respective values for the respective sets of service variables for the first and second service plans based on actual service usage associated with a user; in accordance with the acquired respective values, generating a first service score for the first service plan and a second service score for the second service plan; and in accordance with the first and second service scores, selecting a respective service plan for at least one of usage recommendation or fee calculation for subsequent use in a current service cycle.
