A power consumption management method and a power consumption management device are provided. When a power module of a power supply for a server is faulty, a power consumption management device receives fault information sent by the power supply, and reduces first power consumption, calculated when the power module works normally, of the server by a first value to second power consumption of the server based on the fault information. The first value is not less than a reduced value, calculated when the power module is faulty, of power consumption of the server. In addition, the power consumption management device adjusts the second power consumption of the server based on a power consumption capping value of the server. According to the application, a breakdown of the server is avoided, and the power utilization after the power module is faulty is further improved.

Server power consumption management method and device

A fan module includes a fan (), a bracket (), and a locking member (). The fan includes a pair of parallel side walls () each defining through holes () therein. The bracket includes a pair of parallel side plates () for securing the fan therebetween. The side plates are perpendicular to the side walls of the fan. A locking hole () is defined in one of the side plates. The locking member is sandwiched between the fan and one of the side plates of the bracket, and has a resilient arm () and two pairs of resilient posts () inserting between the side walls of the fan. A protrusion () is formed on each post and removably engages in the corresponding through holes of each side wall of the fan. A locking tab () protrudes from the resilient arm and detachably engages in the locking hole of the bracket.

Fan module

A disk drive carrier assembly includes a disk drive (), a bracket (), and a carrier (). The bracket includes a pair of parallel side plates () with a slideway defined therebetween for guiding the disk drive in a direction parallel to the side plates into the bracket. A securing opening () is defined in one of the side plates. The carrier includes a tray () for receiving the disk drive. A handle () is pivotably attached to the tray at an axis parallel to the side plates. A stop () is formed on an end of the handle for engaging with the securing opening of the bracket. A locking member () is rotatably attached to a free end of the handle from an inner side thereof.

Disk drive carrier assembly

A mounting apparatus for an expansion card () includes a computer panel (), a bracket () mounted to the computer panel, and a card holder () mounted to the bracket. At least a post () is formed on the bracket. The card holder includes a body () glidingly mounted to the bracket for installing the expansion card and a handle () resisted by the post of the bracket for preventing the body from sliding out so as to fix the card holder in position.

Mounting apparatus for expansion card

A mounting device for a circuit card includes a motherboard adapted for receiving the circuit card inserted therein, a computer enclosure configured for accommodating the motherboard, a securing plate mounted on the computer enclosure, and a retaining member with a receiving slot. The retaining member slides along the securing plate and in parallel with one end edge of the circuit card to have the end edge of the circuit card received in the receiving slot. A locking structure is formed between the retaining member and the securing plate for locking the retaining member to the securing plate.
