Various structures for interfaces for a smokable element to connect to a smoke and/or tar filter, and related methods, are provided. For example, the structures and methods enable repeatably and securely connecting or interfacing a smokable element, e.g., an herbal joint, to an air filter, e.g., a smoke and/or tar filter. For instance, an interface can have a horn-shaped end with a deformable opening that receives a smokable element, creating at least a partial seal between the deformable opening of the horn-shaped end and the smokable element. Also, the other end of the interface can have a round end that attaches to an air filter.

The coil bobbin () provides a bridge spring () for tolerance mitigation and shock protection, and also provides a coil winding surface () such that the bobbin () can be wound prior to final assembly. The coil bobbin () may be unitary in structure for low cost.

The displacement limits are designed to protect the toothbrush () from physical damage and to prevent rotational slipped poles, i.e. 'cogging' errors, between the permanent magnets and poles of the resonating toothbrush motor ().

Multifunction modular motor mount bumper

A system configured to mitigate axial shocks and rotational vibration in a resonating power toothbrush (). The system includes a motor mount (), frame (), and multi-function coil bobbin () that act in concert to absorb axial shocks originating from the motor shaft (). The mount (), frame (), and coil bobbin () also act in concert to damp vibrations originating from the motor () to the housing ().
