The present invention relates to hair treatment compositions and methods. More particularly, the invention relates to hair treatment compositions comprising lipids and creatine. The hair treatment compositions of the present invention may be used to improve the tensile properties of hair, such as hair elasticity and strength.

The present invention relates to compositions and methods for modulating hair growth or regrowth. The compositions of the present invention include extracts of one or more of the following:, green tea (e.g.,), shiso,, luteolin (e.g.leaf extract), astilbin, vitamin E, amentoflavone, tetrahydropiperine, lichochalcone, astaxanthin, red clover,, unfermented green rooibos, enzyme CoQ10, salvia, ximenynic acid, hops oleoresin, apple, soy, saw palmetto, or ellagic extract, or any derivative thereof.

Methods and compositions for modulating hair growth or regrowth

The present invention relates to methods of increasing tyrosinase synthesis, expression, or activity in a cell comprising administering to the cell at least one non polar grape seed extract, for example, a nonpolar grape seed extract obtained using hexane as an extraction solvent. The nonpolar grape seed extract may be obtained by any extraction process including solvent sequential fractionation and supercritical fluid extraction.

Methods of using nonpolar grape seed extracts to stimulate tyrosinase expression or melanin synthesis

The present invention relates to methods of increasing tyrosinase synthesis, expression, or activity in a cell comprising administering at least one grape seed extract to the cell. The grape seed extract may be obtained by any extraction process including solvent sequential fractionation and supercritical fluid extraction.

Methods of using grape seed extract to stimulate tyrosinase gene expression

An improved stable conditioning shampoo imparts improved physical and cosmetic properties to the hair such as wet and dry comb, wet and dry feel, gloss, static control and manageability, yet does not cause build-up and does not contain any polyhydric compounds. The shampoo includes an anionic surfactant, a water soluble cationic surfactant, a water-insoluble conditioning agent, and a suspending agent where the suspending agent is a mixture of a cellulose derivative and a PVM/MA Decadiene crosspolymer. The conditioning shampoo is stable for extended periods.
