An analysis master control can be configured to derive contextual information of visual media that includes extracted information and extrapolated information. The analysis master control can receive the extracted information characterizing visual media from a recognizer. An information finder can be configured to query a plurality of information sources for information based on the extracted information. The analysis master control can also be configured to match information received from the information sources with the extracted information to form the extrapolated information that characterizes the visual media.

A location verifier can be configured to receive a location report of a target mobile device, wherein the location report includes data characterizing a location for the target mobile device. The location verifier can also be configured to receive a list of mobile devices that are within a predefined proximity of the target mobile device. The location verifier can further be configured to interrogate each mobile device in the list of mobile devices for a list of detected devices. Each device in the list of detected devices can be detected through peer-to-peer communications.

A persona-notitia intellection codifier (P-NIC) server intelligently codifies and disburses personal user information from a user device (smartphone, laptop, etc.) to a multiplicity of designee devices. Masking Persona-Notitia Intellection Codes (a.k.a. PICs) are created that each stipulate control(s) and parametric limitation(s) for the associated one of a variety of personal user information. The Persona-Notitia Intellection Codifier (P-NIC) server rapidly produces a mask comprising a multiple bit 'key' value (i.e., a persona-notitia intellection code (PIC)) that is uniquely distinguishable from every other PIC that's ever been generated for a given user. The value of the PIC is typically many bytes in length, and associates attributes to a unique key value that describes a desired subset of all the user's available personal user information to be unlocked by the key value (i.e., by the PIC).

iAlert_Enhanced_Alert_Manager enables a user to register an interest in their current location, as well as persons, places and/or things in which the user holds some regard. The iAlert_Enhanced_Alert_Manager provides notification and clarifying information to user's devices concerning events/happenstance that have occurred or are likely to occur within a proximity of registered persons, places, and/or things. The iAlert_Enhanced_Alert_Manager comprises data structures (e.g. an Affinity Table, a SPIN table, a SPIN-List Table, an Affinity-List Table, and a Keyword-List Table) to manage affinities, Spheres of Influence (SPINs), and relationships therebetween that may positively or negatively induce a person. Timely notification of events/happenstance to a user comprises the computation of iEvent-vectors and iAlert-vectors. An iEvent-vector contains fields pertaining to events/happenstance whereas an iAlert-vector comprises information pertaining to notifications. Transmission of a notification is determined as a function of the magnitude of an event/happenstance and the proximity of an event/happenstance to registered objects of interest.

A GeoNexus proximity network provides quick determination of proximity of a large group of associated mobile devices (e.g., 'friends', all devices associated with those who 'like' a given posting, etc.) To respond to a given proximity request, a list of identities is obtained for the group of associated mobile devices for which proximity is to be determined. A bucket index is determined of a place to which proximity is to be determined for each of the plurality of associated mobile devices. A target geonexus node associated with the determined bucket index is queried, which in turn queries geonexus nodes adjacent thereto, to quickly determine which of the group of mobile devices are proximate, without the need to individually query for location of each mobile device in the group.

A radar/laser emission detector is augmented with a cellular communications capability to provide the capability to share emission detection information amongst drivers to give other drivers even more advanced warning. A network of a plurality of cellular augmented radar/laser emission detector devices may be formed, each having the capability to source the location of radar or laser emission detections to others requesting access to such information, and each being warned when within a proximity of a recent radar or laser emission detection reported by at least one of the plurality of hybrid radar/laser detector devices. A local area, mobile area wireless network (MAWN) is formed in a cellular network to share radar/laser detection information among drivers. Mobile Position Centers (MPCs) are provided in ANSI-41 networks and Gateway Mobile Location Centers (GMLCs) (GSM networks), to determine other members that are proximate to a device that is detecting radar emission.

An N-dimensional affinity confluencer comprises an affinity table to maintain a plurality of affinities for each of a plurality of wireless devices. A sphere of influence (SPIN) table provides an influence for determination of a confluence between affinities maintained in the affinity table. An affinity confluence determination module determines an affinity confluence between the plurality of wireless devices and an influence parameter associated with the sphere of influence (SPIN) table. An affinity confluence is determined from among a plurality of wireless devices by determining a confluence of at least two predefined affinities from among a plurality of wireless devices. A sphere of influence parameter is applied to the confluence to determine those of the plurality of wireless devices defined by an affinity confluence. The plurality of wireless devices need not be within a common communication network.

Locating satellites (e.g., GPS) are culled into a preferred group having a longest dwell time based on a time passing through an ellipsoid arc path through a cone of space, and communicated to mobile devices within a particular region (e.g., serviced by a particular base station). The culled locating satellites may select those visible, or more preferably those locating satellites currently within a cone of space above the relevant base station are selected for communication by a mobile device within the service area of the base station. The inverted cone of space may be defined for each antenna structure for any given base station, and each has 360 degrees of coverage, or less than 360 degrees of coverage, with relevant locating satellites. Thus, cell sites may be specifically used as reference points for culling the ephemeris information used to expedite Assisted GPS location determinations.

Cellular augmented radar/laser detection using local mobile network within cellular network

A vehicle includes a telematics controller and a single short range, low power interior transmitter focused substantially only on a vehicle's driver's seat only. Synergistic interaction is provided between a vehicle's telematics controller and a wireless device used by the driver (e.g. a cell phone, smart phone, PDA, wireless laptop, etc.) to parametrically control at least one wireless service or other operation of a wireless device presumed operated by the driver of the vehicle. Example wireless services blocked or forced into a safe mode (such as hands-free operation) include SMS, Email, and Voice services.

The present invention utilizes location based wireless technology in a wireless network to dynamically automate the accuracy of location information provided to requesting parties based on external criteria, e.g., the time of day. The location information may be altered by removing particular parts (e.g., by removing street information, or city information), or by mathematically loosening the accuracy of the location of the particular wireless user.
