Systems and methods for an advanced authorization framework that provides advanced network security and control of network hosted data. The framework provides computerized mechanisms that dictate a control of which data is accessible by particular network components, and which operations the privileged components are enabled to be performed. The framework can allow Network Function (NF) service consumers to discover and request network data that is specific to the operational status (e.g., PCF can request policy data). The framework provides an access scope of the NF service consumer that manages which hosted data is accessible, and to what degree it can be manipulated, if at all.

Computerized system and method for enhanced authorization of network data

A network device executing a Network Exposure Function (NEF) receives, from a requestor, an on-demand Subscription Concealed Identifier (SUCI) deconcealment request associated with a mobile network subscriber. The NEF sends a second SUCI deconcealment request to a network function (NF) in the mobile network, where the second SUCI deconcealment request includes a SUCI associated with the mobile network subscriber. The NEF receives, from the NF, a SUCI deconcealment response that includes a Subscription Permanent Identifier (SUPI), associated with the mobile network subscriber, decrypted from the SUCI by the NF, and forwards the SUCI deconcealment response to the requestor.

A system described herein may receive, from a policy element of a core of a wireless network, a set of triggers associated with a plurality of radio frequency ('RF') bands implemented by a radio access network (“RAN”). The system may identify that a User Equipment (“UE”) is connected to the RAN via a first RF band, and may identify a subsequent connection of the UE to the RAN via a second RF band. The system may identify that a particular trigger, of the set of triggers, is satisfied based on the subsequent connection of the UE to the RAN via the second RF band, and may indicate, to the policy element, that the particular trigger has been satisfied. The policy element may output a second set of UE policies for communications between the UE and the core of the wireless network based on the satisfaction of the particular trigger.

Systems and methods for user equipment policy updates based on radio frequency connection characteristics

A method, a network device, and a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium are described in relation to an detection and autocorrection of stale session information service. The detection and autocorrection service may include the addition of a header, which may indicate date and time information, with a message that has an origination timestamp header. The header may be added to the message by an intermediary network device relative to origin and destination network devices associated with a network procedure. The header may enable detection by a network device of stale session information. The header may enable the network device to determine whether to ignore the message as a duplicate message or use the message to carry out the network procedure. In this way, duplicate messages that may include the same origination timestamp header may be managed and stale information may be detected.

Method and system for detection and autocorrection of stale session information

A network device may receive a context creation request based on a protocol data unit (PDU) session establishment request for establishing a PDU session with a user device, and may generate a policy context request based on receiving the context creation request. The network device may provide the policy context request to a policy control function (PCF), and may receive, from the PCF and based on the policy context request, policy rules for the PDU session. The network device may receive, from the PCF, a terminate PDU session notification indicating that a binding support function (BSF) is unreachable, and may generate, based on the terminate PDU session notification, a PDU session release command that includes a cause code indicating an issue with the BSF and an instruction to not reinitiate the PDU session. The network device may cause the PDU session release command to be provided to the user device.
