A card edge connector includes a housing defining a card slot, a terminal module and a grounding member. The terminal module includes two rows of terminals and an insulating base with a first surface, a second surface and end surfaces between and connecting with the first and second surfaces. Each row of terminals includes a plurality of signal terminals and a plurality of grounding terminals. The terminals includes contacting sections extending out the first surface of the insulating base and into the card slot, leg sections extending out the second surface of the insulating base, and connecting sections. The grounding member fitly surrounds the end surfaces of the insulating base and includes a group of first contacting arms and a group of second contacting arms, each grounding terminal is contacted with one first contacting arm and one second contacting arm.

An electrical connector includes an insulative housing, a plurality of conductive terminals retained in the insulative housing and two grounding members. The insulative housing defines an upper sidewall, a lower sidewall and two end walls connected to both ends of the upper and lower sidewalls to form a mating cavity. Each grounding member defines a body portion fixed to the outside of the insulative housing and a plurality of contacting arms. Each contacting arm defines a connecting portion extending forwardly from the body portion and a contacting portion bent inwardly from the connecting portion, and the upper and lower sidewalls of the insulative housing defines a plurality of channels and a plurality of ribs, the contacting portion of the grounding member protrudes into the mating cavity and the connecting portion abuts against the top surface of the rib to form a certain pre-pressure to the contacting arm.

A card connector comprises an insulating housing having contact receiving slots. An engaging portion is formed on a side of the housing and has a first fixing position and a second fixing position. A plurality of terminals is received in the receiving slots. An ejector comprises a card ejecting plate assembled to the housing and a push bar movable disposed on the engaging portion of the housing and connected with the card ejecting plate. A fixing portion is formed on an internal side of the push bar. The push bar drives the card ejecting plate to move between a card receiving position wherein the fixing portion is located at the first fixing position and a card ejected position wherein the fixing portion is located at the second fixing position.
