The invention concerns a vessel () for storing and/or producing hydrocarbons and a buoyant turret buoy () to be connected to the vessel (). The outer surface of the bow () of the vessel () comprises a receiving structure () for connecting a buoyant turret buoy () to the bow (). The main part of the receiving structure () protrudes from the lower part () of the bow () in the vessel's () direction of travel and an interface of the receiving structure () is complementary to an interface of a connecting section () of the buoyant turret buoy (). Further the lower part () of the bow () is below the water line (w) during connection of the buoyant turret buoy () at sea. The invention also concerns a method for connecting the buoyant turret buoy () to receiving structure () of the vessel ().

Disconnectable bow turret

The present invention relates to a spread moored vessel for production and/or storing of hydrocarbons. The vessel comprises a laterally extending main deck, a symmetrical mooring arrangement for mooring the vessel to a seabed when the vessel is floating in a body of water and a longitudinal hull. The longitudinal hull further comprises a bow, a midbody, a stern, and a motion suppressing element protruding out from the longitudinal hull, below the vessel's maximum draught. The ratio between a maximum length (L) and a maximum breadth (B) of the longitudinal hull, at the vessel's maximum draught, is between 1.1 and 1.5. The specific hull shape with the particular length/breadth ratio and the motion suppressing element allows for favorable and uniform motions regarding of wave direction in relation to vessel heading.

Offshore vessel for production and storage of hydrocarbon products

The invention concerns a cargo transfer vessel for transferring fluid between an offshore production facility and a tanker and a method for transferring the fluid. The cargo transfer vessel comprise a hull having a first and a second outer longitudinal hull side; a deck, propulsion means for actively maintaining the cargo transfer vessel at a predetermined distance from the offshore production facility and the tanker during fluid transfer operations and fluid transfer means for transferring fluid between the offshore structure and the tanker. The vessel is further characterized in that the hull comprises a main hull member and at least one protruding hull member arranged below the cargo transfer vessels water line at each of the outer longitudinal hull sides for suppressing roll of the vessel, wherein the at least one protruding hull member extends at least partly along the hulls longitudinal length, i.e. from the start of the vessel's bow to the end of the vessel's aft.

Cargo transfer vessel

The invention concerns a cargo transfer vessel () for transferring fluid between an offshore production facility and a tanker and a method for transferring the fluid. The cargo transfer vessel comprise a hull () having a first and a second outer longitudinal hull side; a deck (), propulsion means for actively maintaining the cargo transfer vessel at a predetermined distance from the offshore production facility and the tanker during fluid transfer operations and fluid transfer means for transferring fluid between the offshore structure and the tanker. The vessel is further characterized in that the hull comprises a main hull member and at least one protruding hull member () arranged below the cargo transfer vessels water line at each of the outer longitudinal hull sides for suppressing roll of the vessel, wherein the at least one protruding hull member extends at least partly along the hulls longitudinal length, i.e. from the start of the vessel's bow to the end of the vessel's aft.

A floating installation for temporarily accommodating objects that are being transported from a first position to a second position located on a marine installation, characterized by the floating installation including at least one marine docking station adapted for the call of a seagoing transport vessel, the at least one docking station being integrated in the installation, at least one helipad and living quarters, and a method of transporting personnel and equipment.

Marine docking stations

A floating production unit is operable for production and storage of hydrocarbons. The production unit exhibits in operation movement properties rendering connection of one or more loose hanging risers () of suitable material possible. Such a unit comprises a hull () and a deck () in an upper end of the hull, the deck being equipped adequately in accordance with the intended application. The floating production unit is distinguished in that the hull () is configured to allow suspension of the riser () on at least one frame () arranged in a shaft/moonpool () in a center of the hull () wherein vertical movements of the hull () are minimized, and that the moonpool () of the unit surrounds and protects an upper part of the one or more risers () and fixed tubes for transfer of fluid to a processing facility of the production unit against external forces such as waves, ice and vessel collisions, in addition to corresponding protection during connection of the one or more risers () unto the at least one frame ().

Production unit having a ballastable rotation symmetric hull and a moonpool

A tank installation for the storage of liquids, especially oil in a floating storage or production installation, including a number of tanks which are connected to pipe systems for supply of liquid to or removal of liquid from the tanks. The installation includes a central section around which the tanks are arranged in such a manner that each tank has an inner sidewall portion bordering on the central section, and the pipe systems are arranged in the central section and include radially extending pipe lengths that are connected to respective tanks.

Tank installation for the storage of liquids

Platform for drilling after or production of hydrocarbons at sea, consisting of a semi-submersible platform body which supports drilling and/or production equipment on its upper surface. The platform body is designed as a vertical mainly flat bottomed cylinder which is provided with at least one peripheral circular cut-out in the lower section of the cylinder since the centre of buoyancy for the submerged section of the platform is positioned lower than the centre of gravity of the platform.
