A flexible display device including a display panel providing a base surface and a touch screen disposed on the base surface. The display panel may include a plurality of light emitting areas and a non-light emitting area disposed adjacent to the light emitting areas. A plurality of touch electrodes and a plurality of insulating layers of the touch screen may have a mesh shape through which openings corresponding to the plurality of light emitting areas are defined. Accordingly, a flexibility of the flexible display device is improved, and the touch electrode is prevented from being cracked.

Rollable display device

A flexible display device includes a display panel that includes a bending area that is bendable about a bending axis that extends in a first direction and first and second non-bending areas spaced apart from each other in a second direction that intersects the first direction with the bending area interposed therebetween, and a support member under the display panel. The support member includes a first member that overlaps the bending area and that includes a first metal and a first bonding metal with different melting points, and a bonding member in contact with one side of the first member and that extends in the first direction. The bonding member includes the same metal as the first bonding metal. A concentration of the first bonding metal in the first member progressively decreases from the one side toward the bending axis.

Flexible display device and method of manufacturing the same

A flexible electronic device includes a base substrate and first and second lines disposed thereon. The first and second lines extend in a first direction and are arranged in a second direction. Each of the first and second lines includes a first conductive layer including first and second portions alternately disposed with each other, and second conductive layers respectively overlapped with the first portions in a third direction substantially perpendicular to the first and second directions. The second conductive layer is not overlapped with the second portions of the first conductive layer in the third direction. The first and second conductive layers have a first modulus and a second modulus, respectively. A first width in the second direction of each of the first portions is smaller than a second width in the second direction of each of the second portions.

A rollable display apparatus includes a rolling drum; and a flexible display panel comprising an end bonded to the rolling drum, the flexible display panel being windable around an outer circumferential surface of the rolling drum, the flexible display panel including a flexible substrate including a first surface on which a display device is arranged; and a first protection film over the first surface of the flexible substrate, the first protection film including a first layer including an elastic polymer, and a second layer on the first layer and having a smaller surface frictional force than the first layer, and the second layer includes a plurality of first grooves each indented in a depth direction of the second layer from a surface of the second layer.
