The invention provides an apparatus for coiling hair having a working end with a plurality of spaced-apart, round monoliths. The invention also provides a method for coiling hair having the steps of bringing an apparatus for coiling hair into contact with hair to be coiled wherein the apparatus for coiling hair has a working end with a plurality of spaced-apart, round monoliths; and moving the apparatus over and through the hair in a circular motion.

Device and method for coiling hair

A hair trimmer includes a cutting head and a body configured for easy reach of the hard to reach places, such as behind ears. This is achieved by shaping a front portion of the body to have cutouts behind the cutting head, which allow the trimmer to navigate around parts such as an ear. The cutouts also improve air flow around the front of the trimmer's body, thereby improving performance and durability of internal trimmer components through better cooling. The walls of the cutouts may have air ducts to further improve the cooling of the internal components. The cutouts also reduce the vibration of the cutting head and the body, leading to better trimming experience for the user and to improved durability of the trimmer. The method of using a trimmer with a cutting head and a body configured for easy reach of hard to reach places, such as behind ears, is also described.

In some aspects, an artificial nail or tip arrangement can include a body having a concave lower surface with a shape corresponding to a natural nail; an adhesive layer having a first surface to adhere to a portion of the lower surface of the body and a second surface to adhere to a portion of the natural nail; and a removable layer that covers a portion of the second surface of the adhesive layer, the removable layer having at least one slit formed therethrough and disposed along a planar surface of the removable layer, wherein the at least one slit is configured to facilitate conformance of the planar surface of the removable layer to the concave lower surface of the body without wrinkling the removable layer.

Artificial nail or tip arrangement and method of making same

A rotating air directing apparatus for a barrel of a hair dryer is provided. The apparatus includes a tubular adapter member having an inlet opening and an outlet opening. The inlet opening is adapted to be removably coupled to the barrel of the hair dryer. The apparatus also includes a propeller member rotatably coupled to the tubular adapter member. The propeller member includes a plurality of curved vanes extending from a central cylinder. The apparatus further includes a nozzle member disposed adjacent to the outlet opening of the tubular adapter member and adapted to rotate with the propeller member. The nozzle member includes an angled tubular member having a nozzle opening disposed at an acute angle relative to the outlet opening of the tubular adapter member.

Rotating air directing apparatus for a hair dryer

The invention provides, in some aspects, apparatus and methods for a rotating airflow directing attachment for a barrel of a hair dryer. The attachment includes a tubular adapter (or 'attachment body') having an inlet opening and an outlet opening, wherein the inlet opening is adapted to be removably coupled to the barrel of the hair dryer. A blade is rotatably coupled to the tubular adapter, and a nozzle is disposed adjacent to the outlet opening of the tubular adapter and adapted to rotate with the blade. The nozzle has an opening disposed at an acute angle relative to the outlet opening of the tubular adapter.
