Provided are a discharge plenum integrated with a valve stopper and a linear compressor including the discharge plenum. The valve stopper includes a radial member that extends radially and an axial member that extends axially from a radial inner end of the radial member. The axial member may have a tubular shape. The axial member may define a slot flow path that extends axially. The radial member may include a peripheral hole that extends axially. The radial inner side of the radial member may define a central hole of the axial member. The slot flow path and the peripheral hole may minimize a pressure drop and energy loss of a high-pressure fluid flowing from a compression portion to a discharge portion.

A linear compressor includes a cylinder, a frame, and a discharge unit. The discharge unit includes a discharge cover coupled with the frame, a discharge plenum disposed inside the discharge cover to define a plurality of discharge spaces, and an insulating plenum provided in a shape corresponding to an inner surface of the discharge cover to contact the inner surface of the discharge cover.

Linear compressor

A piston for a compressor and a compressor including the same are disclosed. The piston is used in a compressor which compresses and discharges refrigerant suctioned into a cylinder. The piston includes a cylindrical slider and a head. The slider has an outer diameter corresponding to an inner diameter of the cylinder and defines a suction space in which the refrigerant suctioned in the cylinder is received. The head is coupled to the slider, in which a compression space is provided in the front and a suction space is provided in the rear, and in which a suction port communicating with the suction space and the compression space is formed, in which the head includes an inner body and an outer body surrounding the inner body, and the suction port is formed between the inner body and the outer body.

The present invention relates to a linear compressor. A discharge unit of the linear compressor according to an aspect of the present invention includes a discharge cover coupled with the frame. In addition, the discharge cover includes a cover flange portion and a chamber portion. At this time, the cover flange portion includes a flange main body having a main body penetration portion and a main body extension portion provided outward in a radial direction so as to face the main body penetration portion, and a flange coupling portion having a flange coupling hole into which a fastening member for coupling with the frame is inserted.

A compressor includes a casing, a piston accommodated in a cylinder disposed inside the casing to reciprocate forward and backward, the piston being configured to define a suction space in which a refrigerant is accommodated therein, a suction muffler connected to the piston to guide the refrigerant to the suction space, a suction guide disposed behind the suction muffler and fixed to the casing, the suction guide being disposed parallel to the suction muffler in an axial direction, and a suction pipe passing through the casing to extend into the suction guide, the suction pipe being configured to suction the refrigerant. A portion of the suction muffler is disposed to overlap the suction guide in a direction crossing the axial direction.

A piston for a compressor is disclosed. The piston for the compressor compressing and discharging a refrigerant sucked into a cylinder includes a sliding portion disposed in the cylinder and having a suction space to receive the sucked refrigerant, a head portion coupled to the sliding portion, a compression space being formed at a front of the head portion and the suction space being formed at a rear of the head portion, the head portion comprising a suction port communicating the suction space with the compression space, a press-fit cap coupled to the front of the head portion, the press-fit cap comprising a suction hole connected to the suction port, and a first elastic member disposed between the press-fit cap and the head portion. A gas layer is formed between the head portion, the press-fit cap, and the first elastic member.

The linear compressor includes a shell defining an internal space, a compressor body disposed in the internal space, and a passage guide disposed between the shell and the compressor body. The passage guide may include a first guide part extending along an inner surface of the shell in an axial direction and a second guide part extending from the first guide part to the compressor body in a radial direction.

Reciprocating compressor

Provided is a linear compressor. The linear compressor includes a shell defining an internal space and a compressor body disposed in the internal space. Also, the shell includes a shell body having both ends that are opened and a suction shell cover and a discharge shell cover, which are respectively coupled to both the ends of the shell body to close the internal space. Here, the discharge shell cover is provided in shape that is capable of assisting heat dissipation of the frame.
