Disclosed is an electronic device comprising: a first input/output terminal; a second input/output terminal; a power source module; a first switch selectively connecting the first input/output terminal to the power source module; a second switch selectively connecting the second input/output terminal to the power source module; a diode having an anode electrically connected to the first input/output terminal and a cathode electrically connected to the power source module, so that the diode is connected in parallel to the first switch; and a control circuit for controlling the first switch and the second switch. The electronic device can prevent damage due to power from external electronic devices by controlling the first switch and the second switch in response to connection of the external electronic devices. Various embodiments relate to an electronic device and a method for outputting an alert, and a system comprising a locking device coupled to the electronic device. To this end, the electronic device, according to various embodiments, comprises: a connection terminal; and a processor, wherein the processor is configured to: detect a connection with a locking device via the connection terminal; receive an identifier of the locking device from the locking device; identify the received identifier to set the electronic device in an alert mode; detect a disconnection between the electronic device and the locking device; and output an alert in response to the detected disconnection. The electronic device includes: a housing adapted to couple to a first, second and third cover portion, an antenna in the second cover portion, a power management circuit, a wireless communication circuit, an input sensing circuit, and a control circuit. The control circuit implements the method, including: receiving power from a first external device coupled to the electronic device, driving, by a processor, an input-sensing circuit of the electronic device based on at least a part of the received power, detecting, by the processor, an input of a second external device using the driven input-sensing circuit, and transmitting, by communication circuitry, a signal related to the detected input via the second external device to the coupled first external device.

An electronic device comprising: a battery having a plurality of cells that are connected in series; a circuit electrically connected to the battery; and a conductive pattern electrically connected to the circuit, wherein the circuit is configured to: receive a first signal wirelessly from a first external device by using the conductive pattern, charge at least some of the plurality of cells in the battery by using a power of the first signal, generate a second signal by changing a first voltage, that is produced by at least two of the plurality of cells in the battery, into a second voltage that is lower than the first voltage, and wirelessly transmit the second signal to a second external device, the second signal being transmitted by using the conductive pattern.
