A method and a mobile terminal for executing application during a call and a mobile terminal supporting the same are provided. The method for executing application during a call includes determining whether an orientation state of a mobile terminal is changed after forming a call channel and when the orientation state of the mobile terminal is determined to be changed, executing a preset application.
