A second base station (BS) receives, in response to sending a path switch request message, a path switch acknowledge message comprising one or more identifiers of one or more partially allowed network slices for a wireless device, wherein the one or more partially allowed network slice are not supported in one or more tracking area (TAs) of a registration area (RA) of the wireless device. The second BS determines, based on a third BS supporting the one or more partially allowed network slices, a handover of the wireless device to the third BS, and sends, to the third BS, a handover request message comprising the one or more identifiers.

Network slice mobility management

Wireless communication techniques for power saving are described. A wireless device may be configured with one or more power saving configurations, such as a dormant state. During a dormant state, downlink channel monitoring (e.g., on a secondary cell) may be stopped and/or a beam failure recovery procedure may be performed.

Beam failure recovery in a power saving operation

A wireless device receives a layer 1 or layer 2 triggered mobility (LTM) cell switch command. The LTM cell switch command comprises a configuration index indicating a cell for an LTM procedure and does not comprise a timing adjustment value for a primary timing advance group (PTAG) of the cell. In response to receiving the LTM cell switch command with no timing adjustment value, the wireless device starts a time alignment timer associated with the PTAG after measuring a timing advance of the cell.

Timing advance for mobility

A wireless device may receive one or more configuration messages indicating a plurality of resource pools. The wireless device may further measure a plurality of channel busy ratios (CBRs) for the plurality of resource pools based on a CBR measurement window size. The wireless device may also compare the measured CBRs between resource pools by applying a weighting factor. In an embodiment, the weighting factor may be determined based on a relative size of each resource pool of the plurality of resource pools. The wireless device may further select a resource pool for a sidelink transmission among the plurality of resource pools based on the comparing and transmit one or more transport blocks based on a determined transmission parameter.

A base station sends a report message of a data flow comprising a plurality of protocol data unit (PDU) sets, wherein the report message indicates at least one of the data flow not being fulfilled or a fulfilled alternative quality of service (QoS) parameter set indicating at least one of a PDU set error rate (PSER) or a PDU set delay budget (PSDB).

An access and mobility management function (AMF) receives, from a base station, a non-access stratum (NAS) request message of a wireless device comprising one or more single network slice selection assistance information(s) (S-NSSAIs) corresponding to one or more network slices. A user plane function (UPF) receives, from a control plane function (CPF), a request to establish a layer 2 tunneling protocol (L2TP) tunnel for a first protocol data unit (PDU) session of a wireless device. The UPF sends, to the CPF, a message comprising a tunnel failure cause for the establishment of the L2TP tunnel for the first PDU session. The message indicating at least one of a L2TP tunnel failure of the L2TP tunnel, or a L2TP session failure associated with the L2TP tunnel.

A wireless device receives, from a first network, one or more messages comprising an authentication and/or authorization (AA) status of the wireless device indicating whether the wireless device is authenticated and/or authorized for an aerial service, and a parameter indicating that an interface between the first network and a second network is not supported. The wireless device sends, to a network function of the second network, a message, wherein the message comprises the AA status based on the parameter indicating that there is no interface.

Wireless communications are described. A wireless device and/or a base station may determine/select one or more beams for transmission of signals (e.g., sounding reference signals, SRSs) in one or more cells. The wireless device and/or the base station may determine/select a beam based on one or more of: cell indicators of a first cell and/or a second cell, antenna panel indicators associated with SRS transmissions, priorities of SRS transmissions, resource set indicators corresponding to the SRS transmissions, and/or other information.

Methods, devices, and apparatuses for beam management

A method can include sending, by a wireless device to an access and mobility management function (AMF) a non-access stratum (NAS) message indicating a request to establish a packet data unit (PDU) session to join a group communication session. The NAS message can include an identifier of the group communication session, an identifier of a network slice, and a protocol configuration option information. The method can also include receiving, by the wireless device from the AMF, a response message indicating acceptance of the request.

Wireless communication techniques using search space sets are described. A downlink channel may be monitored using search space sets based on one or more conditions. For example, a downlink channel may be monitored on a first search space set during a first time period (e.g., before an expiration of a timer) and/or a downlink channel may be monitored on a second search space set during a second time period (e.g., after an expiration of a timer).

A second base station transmits a message to a first base station. Based on the second base station having a backhaul interface to a third base station, the message includes parameters of one or more cells of the third base station. The second base station transmits, to the first base station, a request to add the first base station as a secondary base station. The second base station receives, from the first base station and based on the message, a request of a change of the secondary base station from the first base station to the third base station.
