A wireless device receives, from a first base station, one or more RRC messages comprising first configuration parameters of one or more cells, and second configuration parameters of an energy saving mode of the one or more cells, wherein the second configuration parameters comprise a transmission periodicity of one or more synchronization signal blocks (SSBs) of the one or more cells.

Information report based on energy saving

A first wireless device may receive from a second wireless device, one or more configuration messages indicating: a radio link monitoring window of a sidelink between the first wireless device and the second wireless device; and a radio link monitoring reference signal configuration of the sidelink. Based on the radio link monitoring reference signal configuration, a determination of a physical sidelink control channel block error rate (BLER) over the radio link monitoring window may be made. A determination may be made that a radio link failure based on the BLER exceeds a threshold value. An indication of the radio link failure of the sidelink may be transmitted.

Radio link monitoring for sidelink communications

Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for wireless communications. A base station and wireless device may communicate capability information associated with a wireless device. The capability information may include information indicating support for an Ethernet type packet data unit session or header parameter compression. An Ethernet type packet data unit session may be instantiated based on the capability information.

Wireless device capability information

A second access node sends, to a first access node, at least one message comprising: an identifier indicating a first cell of a third access node, wherein the second access node communicates with the third access node via a parent node of the third access node; and at least one parameter indicating that the second cell is of the parent node of the third access node, wherein the at least one parameter comprises an identifier indicating a second cell. The second access node receives, from the first access node, a message requesting a handover of a wireless device to the first cell.

Base station backhaul link information

Wireless communications are described. A wireless device may comprise various hardware and/or software transmission/reception components (e.g., one or more antenna panels, transceivers, encoders, decoders, validators). The wireless device may selectively activate or deactivate transmission/reception components for reception of data from one or more cells and/or transmission points. The wireless device may report the activation status of the transmission/reception components to a base station via reports and/or messages. The base station may schedule future transmissions and/or send future messages via selected transmission/reception components, for example, based on the activation status indicated by the wireless device.

Transmission/reception management in wireless communication

A wireless device receives, from a mobility management function, an indication that a network slice is pending. The wireless device sends, to the mobility management function based on the network slice being pending, an indication for removal of the network slice.

Network slice

A wireless device of a vehicle sends, to an access and mobility function (AMF), a registration request message requesting registration of the wireless device, the registration request message comprising a wireless device identity of the wireless device. The wireless device sends, to a SMF, a message requesting establishment of a packet data unit (PDU) session of the wireless device, wherein the message comprises a vehicle identity of the vehicle, wherein the vehicle identity is different from the wireless device identity. The wireless device receives, from the SMF, a response message for establishment of the PDU session.

Policy and charging control for a vehicle terminal

A first wireless device transmits, to a second wireless device one or more RRC messages indicating a time duration of a latency bound for reporting a CSI of first and second carriers. An expiration of the time duration is associated with a cancellation of reporting of the CSI and the latency bound is associated with one or more resource pools of each carrier. The first device transmits, to the second wireless device and via the first carrier, respective first and second SCIs requesting CSIs of each carrier, and receives respective first and second MAC CEs comprising the CSIs of each carrier before expiration of the time duration after the transmitting the SCIs.

Channel state information report latency bound

A visited session management function of a visited public land mobile network (PLMN) sends, to a home session management function of a home PLMN of a wireless device, a request of the wireless device for a packet data unit, PDU, session in a network slice. The visited session management function receives, from the home session management function, a cause value indicating that a network slice quota of the home PLMN has been reached for a number of PDU sessions for the network slice.

Control of network slice

A wireless device receives, from a base station, a medium access control (MAC) control element (CE) indicating a layer 1 or layer 2 triggered mobility (LTM) cell switch from a first cell to a second cell and a resource of the second cell for a transmission, by the wireless device, of a random access preamble.

Resource for layer 1 or layer 2 triggered mobility

Base station cell activation/deactivation may be based on energy cost. A base station may communicate with at least one other base station to coordinate deactivation of a cell and/or offloading one or more wireless devices in the cell to at least one other cell. Determination of additional energy cost and/or capability for serving the offloaded wireless device(s) may be made to calculate overall energy saving and/or to ensure uninterrupted connectivity in view of the deactivation. Base station communication may improve energy efficiency by performing deactivation/activation of one or more cells based on energy usage.

Energy saving in communications network

A wireless device receives a first configured grant (CG) configuration, associated with a first CG index, comprising one or more parameters indicating to disable: monitoring for retransmissions corresponding to the first CG configuration; and starting a discontinuous reception (DRX) hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) round trip time (RTT) timer for a HARQ process associated with a transport block (TB) transmitted via a CG resource indicated by the first CG configuration. The wireless device receives a second CG configuration not associated with the first CG index. Based on the first CG configuration, the wireless device does not start a first DRX HARQ RTT timer for a first HARQ process, and based on the second CG configuration, the wireless device starts a second DRX HARQ RTT timer for a second HARQ process.

Handling on retransmission for extended reality

A wireless device transmits, to a base station, a measurement report message and receives, from the base station, a first radio resource control (RRC) reconfiguration message comprising a layer 1/layer 2 triggered mobility (LTM) configuration comprising an LTM candidate configuration of a candidate cell for an LTM, an identifier of the LTM candidate configuration, and a cell identifier of the candidate cell. The wireless device transmits, after receiving the first RRC reconfiguration message and to the base station, an RRC reconfiguration complete message and transmits, to the base station, a layer 1 measurement report and receives, from the base station, a second RRC reconfiguration message indicating to release the LTM candidate configuration. A cancelling of the LTM is indicated by an LTM cancel message comprising the identifier of the candidate cell and a cause value indicating a reason for the cancelling of the LTM of the candidate cell.

Layer 1/layer 2 triggered mobility cancelation initiated by target base station

A method can include transmitting, by a wireless device, a capability message comprising a field indicating a time gap of the wireless device to complete a procedure of layer 1 or layer 2 triggered mobility (LTM). The method can also include receiving, in a time interval, a medium access control control element (MAC CE) indicating cell switch to a candidate cell of LTM. The method can further include transmitting, via the candidate cell and a time resource, an uplink transmission, wherein the time resource is after the time gap plus an offset from the time interval.

Timing advance for mobility

A second base station (BS) receives, in response to sending a path switch request message, a path switch acknowledge message comprising one or more identifiers of one or more partially allowed network slices for a wireless device, wherein the one or more partially allowed network slice are not supported in one or more tracking area (TAs) of a registration area (RA) of the wireless device. The second BS determines, based on a third BS supporting the one or more partially allowed network slices, a handover of the wireless device to the third BS, and sends, to the third BS, a handover request message comprising the one or more identifiers.
