A display device includes a display panel with a non-bending area and bending areas, and a metal plate disposed on a lower portion of the display panel and configured to support the display panel. The bending areas include first bending areas corresponding to a lateral portion of the non-bending area, and second bending areas corresponding to a corner of the non-bending area. The metal plate includes a first metal plate disposed in the non-bending area, a second metal plate disposed to correspond to the first bending areas, and a third metal plate disposed to correspond to the second bending areas with a groove is disposed in the second metal plate, and the third metal plate includes a plurality of opening portions to reduce stress caused by bending.

Display device

The present invention relates to a touch display device, a back light unit, and a flexible printed circuit. The present invention improves a structure of a flexible printed circuit that outputs a force driving signal so as to be suitable for a structure included in the touch display device. Thus, an example of the present invention is a touch display device including a compact signal transmission path. Further, a force electrode and the flexible printed circuit are configured as one body to transmit a force driving signal to the force electrode through a signal line in the flexible printed circuit. Thus, an example of the present invention is a touch display device that can stably apply a force driving signal through a compact signal transmission path.

Touch display device, back light unit and flexible printed circuit

A display device, a backlight unit, a guide panel, and a flexible printed circuit, are disclosed which include a conductive pattern on a part of an outer surface of a guide panel or a folding portion formed by folding a side end portion of the flexible printed circuit. The conductive pattern or the folding portion is electrically connected to an electrode located below the display device. A simple structure is provided in which a signal output from a signal input medium positioned above the guide panel is easily transmitted to an electrode located below the display device through the conductive pattern of the guide panel or the folding portion of the flexible printed circuit.

A liquid crystal display comprises a liquid crystal panel and a backlight unit. The liquid crystal panel includes a main display area and a sub-display area protruding from the main display area. The backlight unit includes a light guide plate having a main light plate below the main display area and a sub-display light plate below the sub-display area. A first light source emits first light primarily into the main light plate below the main display area and a second light source emits second light primarily into the sub-display light plate below the sub-display area.

Disclosed are a display device and a manufacturing method thereof, which do not use some of cases and set covers necessary for producing the display device and thus can minimize a thickness and enhance a sense of beauty with an innovative design. The display device includes a display panel, a guide frame, an adhesive member, a set cover, and a soft member. The set cover receives the guide frame, and surrounds a side of the display panel. The soft member is formed at the set cover, and closely contacted to the side of the display panel.
