The first electronic device for establishing a connection includes at least one sensor, a first communication interface, a second communication interface, and at least one processor being configured to obtain first location information of the first electronic device through the at least one sensor, obtain second location information of the second electronic device from the external electronic device or the second electronic device, determine connection operation information indicating at least one operation to be performed to establish a communication link with the second electronic device and at least one parameter to be used for the at least one operation, and establish the communication link with the second electronic device.

An electronic device and method are disclosed. The electronic device includes: a communication circuit for transceiving data, a charging circuit for receiving power via an electrical connection, and controlling a communication channel operative through the electrical connection, a memory, and a processor. The processor implements the method, including: receiving, via the charging circuit, and through the electrical connection, connection information of a first external electronic device for communicatively connecting to the first external electronic device, from a second external electronic device into which the electronic device is inserted and receiving power via the charging circuit, transmitting, via the charging circuit, and through the electrical connection, connection information of the electronic device for communicatively connecting to the first external electronic device, to the second external electronic device, and storing the connection information of the first external electronic device in the memory.

The processor may be configured to: if charging from the power supply device through the interface is detected, set the charging current, transmit first charging information associated with the first power receiving device to the power supply device, through the interface, receive second charging information associated with a second power receiving device which is paired with the first power receiving device or associated with the power supply device from the power supply device, through the interface, and control the charging current by comparing the first charging information and the second charging information.

The audio output device includes a housing, an audio output unit outputting audio data, a first contact sensor configured to detect a contact of an external object, a second contact sensor configured to detect a contact of the external object, a proximity sensor configured to detect a proximity of the external object within a predetermined distance, and a processor operatively connected to the audio output unit, the first contact sensor, the second contact sensor, and the proximity sensor. The processor may be configured to execute a wearing detection mode of the audio output device, to determine the contact of the external object through the first contact sensor, to determine the contact of the external object through the second contact sensor, to determine the proximity of the external object through the proximity sensor, and to determine that the audio output device is in a state worn by the external object.
