A display device includes a display panel, and a circuit film disposed under the display panel. The display panel includes a base layer, pixels disposed on the base layer, sensors disposed on the base layer, first connection lines disposed on the base layer and electrically connected to the pixels, second connection lines disposed on the base layer and electrically connected to the sensors, first pads electrically connected to the first connection lines, and second pads electrically connected to the second connection lines. The circuit film is electrically connected to the first pads and the second pads through an opening of the base layer, and each of the plurality of second connection lines has a straight shape extending along a first direction.

Display device

A display panel includes a circuit layer including first, second, and third intermediate insulating layers, first and second conductive patterns, and a light emitting element layer disposed on the circuit layer, and including first and second light emitting elements in a first area and a second area of a base layer. The first light emitting element is electrically connected to one of the first conductive patterns through a first through-hole formed through the second intermediate insulating layer and the third intermediate insulating layer. The second light emitting element is electrically connected to one of the second conductive patterns through a second through-hole formed through the third intermediate insulating layer. A smallest width of the first through-hole and a smallest width of the second through-hole are substantially equal in a cross-section.

Display panel and method for manufacturing the same

A display device includes: a substrate including a central area, a corner area including an extension area extending in a direction away from the central area, and an intermediate area between the central area and the corner area; a first wiring line disposed in the intermediate area; a second-first wiring line extending along one of opposite edges of the extension area, a second-second wiring line extending along the other one of the opposite edges of the extension area, a first-first connection wiring line, which electrically connects the second-first wiring line and the second-second wiring line to the first wiring line, a plurality of second connection wiring lines connecting the second-first wiring line to the second-second wiring line in the extension area, and a third connection wiring line connecting the plurality of second connection wiring lines to each other in the extension area.

A display apparatus includes: a substrate including a first area and a second area disposed adjacent to the first area; a first pixel arranged in the first area; a first pixel circuit arranged in the first area, electrically connected to the first pixel, and overlapping at least a portion of the first pixel; and a second pixel arranged in the second area and electrically connected to the first pixel circuit, wherein the first pixel circuit includes a first storage capacitor and a second storage capacitor that are connected in parallel to each other.

A display panel includes a substrate including a main display area, a round display area disposed at a corner portion of the main display area, and a middle display area between the main display area and the round display area, a round display element area arranged in the round display area and including round display elements, and a round pixel circuit area arranged in the middle display area and including round pixel circuits connected to the round display elements and emitting light of a same color. Round display element areas are arranged in different rows and round pixel circuit areas are arranged in different rows. A display panel that includes a plurality of light emitting elements and a plurality of light detection elements, and an input sensing unit disposed on the display panel. The input sensing unit includes a first detection electrode, a second detection electrode insulated from and that intersects the first detection electrode, and a plurality of light blocking parts that include detection openings that overlap the light detection elements. A display apparatus is disclosed that includes a first display area and a second display area adjacent to the first display area. The first and second display areas include first and second light emitting areas having first and second pixel densities, respectively. The first and second light emitting areas at an interface between the first and second display areas are arranged such that in operation light emitted by the first and second light emitting areas produces a gradual decrease in light intensity from the first display area to the second display area near the interface.

A display device including a substrate, a gate line, a data line, a plurality of thin film transistors, a first pixel electrode, and a second pixel electrode. The gate line is disposed on the substrate. The data line is disposed on the substrate. The data line includes a first branch line and a second branch line. The first branch line and the second branch line form a closed loop. The plurality of thin film transistors is connected to the data line. The first pixel electrode is connected to at least one of the plurality of thin film transistors. The second pixel electrode is connected to at least another one of the plurality of thin film transisters. The first pixel electrode and the second pixel electrode are arranged in a substantially diagonal direction with respect to each another. The first branch line is connected to a source electrode of said at least one of the plurality of thin film transistors. A liquid crystal display device has a liquid crystal layer between first and second substrates, a gate line and a data line on the first substrate, a first sub-pixel electrode in a first sub-pixel region of the first substrate, a first transistor connected to the gate line, the data line, and the first sub-pixel electrode, and a second sub-pixel electrode in a second sub-pixel region of the first substrate. The device further includes a second transistor connected to the gate line, the first transistor, and the second sub-pixel electrode, a first storage line extending along an edge portion of the first sub-pixel electrode, a third transistor connected to the gate line, the second sub-pixel electrode, and the first storage line, and a second storage line extending along a side of the second sub-pixel electrode, The second storage line is separated from the first storage line.

Liquid crystal display device

A display device includes a substrate, a gate wiring on the substrate, the gate wiring including a gate line and a gate electrode, a data wiring which is disposed on the substrate and insulated from the gate wiring, the data wiring including a data line, a source electrode, and a drain electrode, a pixel electrode which is disposed on the substrate and insulated from the data wiring, the pixel electrode being connected to the drain electrode through a contact hole, and a backlight shielding electrode below the contact hole.
