An electronic device disclosed herein includes: a display, a memory, a processor, and a camera, the camera includes a lens unit including a lens, a prism rotatable in a first direction or a second direction, a driving unit including at least one coil configured to move the prism, a magnetic body coupled to the prism, a sensor unit including a sensor configured to detect a first amount of rotation of the prism in the first direction or a second amount of rotation thereof in the second direction, and an image sensor configured to generate an electrical signal using light passing through the lens unit and the prism, wherein the processor is configured to: determine a first region of interest (ROI) for execution of a specified function using the camera, determine the first amount of rotation or the second amount of rotation using a sensing value of the sensor unit, and determine a second region of interest by correcting the first region of interest of the camera using the first amount of rotation or the second amount of rotation.

An electronic device of the disclosure may include a camera module including a lens assembly, a reflector for changing a field of view, a Hall sensor for identifying a position of the reflector, and a first memory for storing a first correction value for correcting shading by the lens assembly, a second memory for storing reflector shading correction, and a processor. The processor may obtain a first image frame by driving the camera module, obtain first Hall data corresponding to the position of the reflector through the Hall sensor while the first image frame is obtained through the camera module, obtain the first correction value from the first memory, obtain a second correction value corresponding to the first Hall data among the reflector shading correction values from the second memory, and perform shading correction on the first image frame based on the first correction value and the second correction value.

The processor may determine an exposure value that will be applied when photographing using the camera, obtain image frames, based on the exposure value, obtain movement information on the camera or the lens assembly by using the at least one sensor while the image frames are being obtained, determine an image stabilization strength, based on the exposure value and the movement information, and perform video digital image stabilization (VDIS) for the image frames, based on the image stabilization strength.

An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a first camera, a second camera spaced apart from the first camera, and a processor. The processor is configured to obtain a first image of external objects using the first camera, obtain a second image of the external objects using the second camera, identify a specified object in which pieces of depth information are generated from among the external objects included in the first image and the second image based on phase difference comparison between the first image and the second image, then select depth information about the specified object among the pieces of depth information based on a degree of spreading of a point corresponding to the specified object included in at least one of the first image and the second image, and generate depth information about the external objects including the specified object using the selected depth information.

Method for generating depth information and electronic device supporting the same

The present disclosure relates to an electronic device. The electronic device may comprise an image sensor and a processor connected to the image sensor electrically. The processor can generate a first image based on an electric signal generated by the image sensor. A first contrast value for the first image is calculated. A brightness value of the brightest point in a first area centered at a first point included in the first image is stored as a brightness value of the first point. A second image is generated based on the stored brightness values a weighted value is determined for each point according to the brightness value of each point included in the second image. A second contrast value is calculated based on the determined weighted value of each point and the first contrast value.
