A method for driving a piezo actuator includes detecting consumption current by stepwise sweeping the frequency of an actuator driving signal to drive the piezo actuator vibrated in response to first and second vibration modes from a first reference frequency and determining a frequency at which the consumption current is inflected to be a first resonant frequency, detecting consumption current by stepwise sweeping the frequency of the actuator driving signal from a second reference frequency and determining a frequency at which the consumption current is inflected to be a second resonant frequency, and outputting an actuator driving signal in response to the first resonant frequency and the second resonant frequency.

Method and apparatus for driving piezo actuator

A vibrator includes: a housing having an interior space; a vibrating member installed within the housing; a piezoelectric element installed on a top surface of the vibrating member; and space forming parts disposed to face side surfaces of the piezoelectric element, respectively, and forming a space in which a filler is provided, together with the side surfaces of the piezoelectric element.

There is provided a piezoelectric vibration actuator including: a flat cover member; a vibration portion including a vibration plate that is spaced apart from the cover member in parallel by a predetermined distance and a piezoelectric element that generates a vibration force by repeatedly expanding and contracting according to power applied from the outside; a weight portion disposed on the vibration portion to increase the vibration force of the piezoelectric element; and a binding member fixing the vibration portion and the weight portion. Disclosed herein is a piezo vibration module, including: a piezo element having a pattern of an internal electrode printed therein and having an external electrode connected to the internal electrode disposed on an outer surface thereof; a flexible printed circuit board (FPCB) having each terminal and applying power to the external electrodes of the piezo element; and a conductive adhesive interposed between the piezo element and the FPCB to electrically connect the piezo element to the flexible printed circuit board.
