Provided is a radiating apparatus of a built-in refrigerator that can improve heat radiation in a machine room of the refrigerator installed in a built-in cabinet. The radiating apparatus includes: a refrigerator body installed in a built-in cabinet; a machine room disposed at a rear lower side of the refrigerator body; a compressor installed at one side of the machine room; a condenser and a blower fan installed at the other side of the machine room; and an airflow guide member installed between the blower fan and the condenser, for guiding a suction of an external air toward the other side of the machine room and guiding a discharge of an air that has exchanged heat in the other side of the machine room.

Radiating apparatus of built-in refrigerator

Disclosed is a built-in refrigerator provided in a sink and effectively discharging heat from a condenser and a compressor. The built-in refrigerator includes a cabinet provided in the sink and a component chamber at a rear bottom thereof and a dust guard provided at a front bottom of the cabinet; a compressor provided in the component chamber; a condenser provided under a bottom surface of the cabinet; a ventilating passage communicating the component chamber with a bottom of the cabinet and outside of the dust guard for discharging heat generated from the condenser and the compressor to outside; and a cooling fan provided in the component chamber for cooling the compressor and the condenser.

Built-in type refrigerator

A direct cooling type refrigerator capable of rapidly and accurately controlling the temperature thereof, reducing the ON/OFF time of its compressor, thereby preventing the temperature deviation of its storage compartment from increasing over a predetermined value. The refrigerator includes an outer casing defining an appearance of the refrigerator, an inner casing arranged within the outer casing, and defined with a storage compartment, an insulator interposed between the outer casing and the inner casing, a compressor for compressing a refrigerant, an evaporator arranged to be in contact with the inner casing, and adapted to cool the inner casing in accordance with evaporation of a refrigerant passing therethrough, a temperature sensor provided with a surface contact area closely contacting the inner casing, and adapted to sense a temperature of the inner casing, and a control unit for controlling the compressor in accordance with the temperature sensed by the temperature sensor.

Direct cooling type refrigerator and evaporating pipe fixing method in the refrigerator

Disclosed herein is an air conditioner comprising a plurality of indoor units and a common outdoor unit connected to each of the indoor units. The air conditioner further includes an additional indoor unit connected to an air conditioner comprising an indoor unit and an outdoor unit connected to the indoor unit. The additional indoor unit is installed in some place other than the installation place of the indoor unit. The indoor units are selectively or simultaneously operated by means of effective distribution of coolant in the outdoor unit so that the indoor units are properly operated by means of the single outdoor unit to provide a pleasant air conditioned environment.

Air conditioner

A built-in refrigerator is disclosed, which includes a cabinet provided in a sink and having a door at a front side thereof and a component chamber at a rear bottom thereof; a molding provided on a floor located at a front bottom of the cabinet; a compressor provided in the component chamber; a cooling fan provided in the component chamber for blowing air to the compressor; a condenser condensing a flowing refrigerant by heat-exchange with the air blown from the cooling fan; and a ventilating passage connecting the component chamber to the outside of the molding for ventilating the component chamber. Also, the built-in refrigerator further includes a dividing strip for dividing the ventilating passage into an inflow passage through which the air is introduced, and an outflow passage through which the air is discharged, wherein the dividing strip is inclined at a predetermined angle &thgr; so as to form an inlet of the inflow passage larger than an outlet of the inflow passage. The condenser may be provided on an inner sidewall of the component chamber.

Built-in refrigerator

A built-in refrigerator is disclosed. The built-in refrigerator includes: a main body installed in a sink and having a door at a front side thereof and a machine room at a rear lower side thereof; condenser and compressor respectively installed in the machine room; a cooling fan installed in the machine room, for cooling the condenser and the compressor; and a radiation passage allowing an outside of a front side of the main body to communicate with the machine room to introduce external air into the machine room and discharge internal air of the machine room.

A method of controlling a system with multiple air conditioner units having an outdoor machine and a plurality of indoor machines, which detects different driving modes input to each indoor machine, compares an outdoor temperature with first and second predetermined temperatures, and drives a corresponding indoor machine in accordance with the comparison results.

Method of controlling a system having multiple air conditioner units

An air conditioning apparatus includes a first, second and third internal devices, and an external device which is provided with a plurality of separately operable units. Each of the units comprises an inverter compressor for compressing a refrigerant under a high temperature and a high pressure, a first heat exchanger, a four-directional valve for sending the refrigerant to the external heat exchanger during a cooling operation and being closed/opened so as to discharge the refrigerant into each of the internal devices during a heating operation, a check valve for switching on/off the flow of the refrigerant which was compressed after being heat-exchanged in the external heat exchanger, a pair of electronic expansion valves for depressurizing the refrigerant respectively, an electronic expansion valve applied to heating and for further depressurizing the temperature-lowered refrigerant which was depressurized in the expansion valves, and an accumulator between the compressor and the four-directional valve and for temporarily storing therein the refrigerant in each step of the cooling and heating operation.
