A display device may include a plurality of subpixels respectively connected to a plurality of data lines; a data driving circuit configured to convert a compensated digital image data into an analog data voltage and to supply the analog data voltage to the data lines; a large-capacity memory configured to store initial compensation data based on a characteristic value for each of the plurality of subpixels; a high-speed memory configured to store sampled compensation data sampled from the initial compensation data for less than all of the plurality of subpixels in one frame; and a timing controller configured to control the gate driving circuit and the data driving circuit, to determine final compensation data based on at least one of the sampled compensation data and the initial compensation data, and to output the compensated digital image data based on an input image data and the final compensation data.

Accordingly, a constant data voltage charging rate of each of the pixels is maintained regardless of a distance between a data driving circuit and each of the pixels.

A display apparatus including a substrate including a display area includes a plurality of pixel areas and a non-display area surrounding the display area, a plurality of pixels including a pixel driving chip provided in each of the plurality of pixel areas of the substrate and a light emission part connected to the pixel driving chip, and a plurality of touch electrodes disposed in the display area to overlap two or more pixels. A first pixel driving chip of two or more pixel driving chips overlapping a corresponding touch electrode of the plurality of touch electrodes is connected to the corresponding touch electrode.

Display apparatus

Disclosed is a light emitting display apparatus. The light emitting display apparatus includes a plurality of pixels provided in a display area of a substrate and connected to a data line, a clock line, and a pixel driving power line. The plurality of pixels each include a pixel driving chip connected to the data line, the clock line, and the pixel driving power line to sequentially output a driving current through a plurality of output terminals thereof and a plurality of light emitting devices respectively connected to the plurality of output terminals. Accordingly, a gate driving circuit and a gate line connected to the gate driving circuit are removed from one end of a display panel and omitted, thereby minimizing the number of pad parts disposed in the display panel.

Disclosed is a light emitting display apparatus. The light emitting display apparatus includes a plurality of pixels provided in a display area of a substrate and connected to a data line, a clock line, and a pixel driving power line. The display apparatus may include gate lines passing through a display area of a substrate, data lines passing through the display area of the substrate, pixel driving power lines passing through the display area of the substrate, a plurality of pixels having a pixel driving chip mounted on at least one pixel area defined on the substrate and connected and connected to an adjacent gate line and data line and a light emission part connected to the pixel driving chip, a gate driving chip array part mounted in a non-display area of the substrate and connected to the gate lines, and a data driving chip array part mounted in the non-display area of the substrate and connected to the data lines.

A rollable display including a flexible display panel having a screen that is separated into an exposed display region and a non-exposed display region. The screen of the flexible display panel is moved using a screen driver, and a moving direction of the exposed display region is controlled to be opposite to a moving direction of the screen, to distribute the stress of pixels, without changing an absolute location of the exposed display region, and to defer degradation of the pixels.

Rollable display and driving method thereof

Disclosed is a display apparatus having a simplified configuration. The display apparatus includes a substrate including a display area including a plurality of pixel areas defined in a first direction and a second direction intersecting the first direction and a non-display area surrounding the display area, a plurality of pixels each including a pixel driving chip provided in a corresponding pixel area of the plurality of pixel areas of the substrate and a light emission part connected to the pixel driving chip, a plurality of pixel data transfer lines sequentially transferring digital pixel data to pixel driving chips of pixels arranged in the first direction, and a plurality of clock transfer lines sequentially transferring a reference clock to the pixel driving chips of the pixels arranged in the first direction. The pixel driving chip allows the light emission part to emit light, based on the digital pixel data and the reference clock input thereto.

There is provided a driving method of a liquid crystal display device that is driven by an inversion method, including: calculating a total sum of changed amounts of data voltages between an (n&#x2212;1)-th row line and an n-th row line, using image data of the (n&#x2212;1)-th row line and image data of the n-th row line; generating common voltage data according to the total sum of the changed amounts of the data voltages; compensating for the common voltage data using a characteristic parameter of a liquid crystal panel; and generating a common voltage according to the compensated common voltage data, and outputting the common voltage to the liquid crystal panel.
