A vehicle body structure for safely protecting a high-voltage, the vehicle body structure including: a battery mounted on bottom portions of a center floor and a rear floor; and a protective structure having a bottom portion on which a peripheral portion of the battery is mounted and including panels fitted to each other into a shape covering a peripheral portion of the center floor.

A vehicle side outer structure includes a master side outer panel having a front door opening and a rear door opening, and a quarter garnish panel joined to a rear edge of the master side outer panel, wherein the quarter garnish panel is configured to be changeable in response to a partial design change of a vehicle.

A vehicle body structure may include a front pillar extending in a height direction of a vehicle and positioned in front along a longitudinal direction of the vehicle. A rear pillar extends in the height direction and is positioned in rear along the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. Roof side members extend in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and are disposed on the left and right sides along a width direction of the vehicle. At least one roof rail extends along the width direction of the vehicle and connecting the roof side members of the left and right sides. The front pillar includes a front pillar inner member and a front pillar outer reinforcing member. A front end portion of the roof side member along the longitudinal direction of the vehicle is inserted between the front pillar inner member the front pillar outer reinforcing member.

A forming method for a vehicle body member may include a tube making process of forming a steel pipe by welding a steel plate coil; a non-circular tube making process of primary preforming the steel pipe formed in the tube making process so as to have a cross section of a predetermined shape; a bending process of bending and secondarily preforming the steel pipe preformed firstly in the non-circular tube making process; and a hot stamping process of heating the secondarily preformed steel pipe, inserting the heated steel pipe into a mold to form a desired shape, and then, quenching the heated steel pipe to form a vehicle body member, thereby easily forming a vehicle body member having high rigidity.

Method for forming vehicle body member

A vehicle body may include a front pillar vehicle extending in the height direction of the vehicle and positioned forwardly along the longitudinal direction of the vehicle; a rear pillar vehicle extending in the height direction of the vehicle and positioned reward along the longitudinal direction of the vehicle; a roof side member extending along the longitudinal direction of the vehicle to couple with the front pillar and the rear pillar and disposed on both first and second sides along the width direction of the vehicle; and at least one roof rail extending along the width direction of the vehicle to connect the roof side members on both first and second sides, achieving a stable and robust upper vehicle body with only two pillars.

A battery support structure of a vehicle includes a number of battery support members installed on a bottom surface of a rear floor of a vehicle body to support a battery unit. The battery support members include cross members for battery support extending in a widthwise direction of the vehicle body. A pair of side sills is installed on opposite sides of the rear floor. A rear cross member is installed on the bottom surface of the rear floor. At least one of the plurality of cross members for battery support is connected to the rear cross member and the side sill.
