A display apparatus includes pixel areas and a light blocking area between the pixel areas. The display apparatus includes a first base substrate, a thin film transistor, and first, second, and third color filters. The first color filter has a first color, the second color filter has a second color different from the first color, and the third color filter has a third color different from the first and second colors. In the light blocking area, the thin film transistor, the first color filter, and the third color filter at least partially overlap each other. The second color filter in at least one pixel area is connected to an adjacent second color filter disposed in an adjacent pixel area by a bridge portion, and the bridge portion is formed of the same material as the second color filter and is disposed in the light blocking area.

A liquid crystal display device includes upper and lower pixels; gate lines in electrical connection with the adjacent pixels and extending in a row direction, and data lines which cross the gate lines; and a reference voltage line including a vertical portion which passes through the adjacent pixels, and horizontal portions which alternately extend from the vertical portion. Each of the adjacent pixels includes first and second thin film transistors (TFTs) each in electrical connection with a gate line and a data line which correspond to a respective pixel; and a pixel electrode including a first subpixel electrode in connection with an output terminal of the first TFT, and a second subpixel electrode in connection with an output terminal of the second TFT. The horizontal portions of the reference voltage line are in electrical connection with the second subpixel electrodes of the adjacent pixels.

A liquid crystal display includes pixels including a display area that includes a thin film transistor forming area connected to a corresponding data line among data lines, a corresponding gate line among gate lines, and a reference voltage line, two low gray subpixel areas, and one high gray subpixel area disposed between the two low gray subpixel areas, a data driver supplying data signals corresponding to the pixels to the data lines, a gate driver supplying gate voltages corresponding to the pixels to the gate lines, and a voltage supplier supplying a reference voltage to the two low gray subpixel area of the pixels through the reference voltage line, where the reference voltage line extends in a vertical direction along a boundary formed by the high gray subpixel and a first low gray subpixel adjacent to the thin film transistor forming area among the two low gray subpixels.

A display substrate is disclosed. In one aspect, the substrate includes a first substrate which includes a first display region, a first peripheral region and a first seal-line region and a second substrate facing the first substrate and including a second display region, a second peripheral region and a second seal-line region. The substrate also includes a sealing member formed on the first seal-line region and the second seal-line region to affix the first and second substrates and a color filter formed in the first display region. The substrate further includes a first dam formed using the same material as the color filter, formed in the first peripheral region, adjacent to the first seal-line region in the first peripheral region and a second dam formed using the same material as the color filter and formed adjacent to the first display region in the first peripheral region.

A rechargeable battery pack configured to prevent a frame from being damaged due to external impact forces while insulating a protection circuit module from short circuit is described. In an exemplary embodiment, the rechargeable battery pack may include a plurality of unit cells made up of a rechargeable battery connected to a frame which accommodates and supports the unit cells and having a loading portion sandwiched between the unit cells. The rechargeable battery pack may further comprise an electrically insulating holder connected to a loading portion, and a protection circuit module electrically connected to the unit cells and installed into the holder.

A rechargeable battery pack may be used with a protection circuit module in common for serial or parallel connection of unit cells. The rechargeable battery pack may include a plurality of unit cells for forming a rechargeable battery by providing an electrode assembly to a pouch, a protection circuit module electrically connected to the unit cells, and a connector connected to the protection circuit module. The protection circuit module may include a serial protection circuit for electrically connecting the unit cells in series and a parallel protection circuit for electrically connecting the unit cells in parallel.

An embodiment of the battery pack includes a bare cell, wherein the bare cell comprises a terminal; a circuit module coupled with the bare cell, wherein the circuit module comprises a protective device; and a cover disposed over the circuit module and coupled with the bare cell; wherein the circuit module comprises a through-hole, the cover comprises a protrusion, the protrusion engages with the through-hole, and the through-hole enables welding of the protective device of the circuit module to the terminal of the bare cell through the through-hole.

Provided is a gate driving circuit including cascade-connected stages that output gate signals. An n-th one of the stages ('n' is a natural number) includes a pull-up part, a pull-up controller, a first pull-down part, a second pull-down part, and a pull-down controller. The pull-up part outputs a first clock signal as an output signal of the n-th stage. The pull-up controller selectively applies first and second powers to a control electrode of the pull-up part. The first pull-down part pulls down a voltage applied to the control electrode of the pull-up part to an off voltage. The second pull-down part pulls down a voltage applied to an output electrode of the pull-up part to the off voltage. The pull-down controller selectively applies the first and second powers to control electrodes of the first and second pull-down parts.
