The present invention relates to a fermentation apparatus comprising a storage compartment which is formed with an accommodating space for storing food and at least one of a heating part and a cooling part to ferment the food in the storage compartment, further comprising a sensor to sense a fermentation level of the food; an input part comprising a memory button allowing to memorize the fermentation level in a state that the food is fermented to an extent that a user wants to memorize; and a controller to control operation of at least one of the heating part and the cooling part, and store a fermentation value from the sensor as a custom fermentation value if the memory button is selected. Thus, the present invention provides a fermentation apparatus for customizing a fermentation level and a method thereof, which memorizes a desired fermentation level and repeatedly provides food at a desired fermentation level by selecting a memorized fermentation level.

Fermentation apparatus for customizing fermentation level and method thereof

A cooking apparatus includes a body, a pair of heating units, a grill unit, a heat reflecting unit, and a cooling fan. The heating units are arranged between the grill unit and the heat reflecting unit. The heat reflecting unit includes inner and outer reflecting plates that are inclined at certain angles to reflect heat radiated from the heating units toward the grill unit. The cooling fan is positioned in an inner space of the heat reflecting unit. The heat reflecting unit has front, rear, and side plates, which are provided with a plurality of through holes, so that air passes through the inner space of the heat reflecting unit.

A cooking apparatus having a body, one or more heating units, a grill unit, and a heat reflecting unit. The heating units are arranged between the grill unit and the heat reflecting unit. The heat reflecting unit has front and rear plates, side plates, and a pair of inner reflecting plates and a pair of outer reflecting plates. The inner reflecting plates are upwardly projected to be higher than the outer reflecting plates. The front plate includes an upper surface and inner and outer surfaces, and is provided in the upper surface thereof with a water inlet, and in the inner surface thereof with an overflow hole. The front plate has a water level window to ascertain a level of water. The front plate is positioned outside the body so that oil and sauce are prevented from entering the inner space of the heat reflecting unit through the water inlet.

A grill unit and a cooking apparatus having the grill unit, the grill unit including a plurality of grill pipes; water tanks connected to ends of the grill pipes to supply water into the grill pipes; covers to selectively open and close upper portions of the water tanks; and guide members respectively extending from inner surfaces of the covers toward insides of the water tanks to guide condensed water formed on the inner surfaces of the covers into the water tanks. The grill unit prevents water condensed on inner surfaces of the covers of the water tanks of the grill unit from flowing out of the water tanks.

Grill unit and cooking apparatus with the same

A cooking apparatus includes a body provided in a top thereof with an opening, at least one heating unit arranged on both sides of the body, a grill unit mounted on a top of the body, and a heat reflecting unit arranged toward the heating units below the opening of the body. A microwave oven which has a simple structure, and steams food placed in a cooking cavity without having a separate steaming container. The microwave oven includes the cooking cavity provided in a cabinet, a magnetron provided outside the cooking cavity to irradiate microwaves into the cooking cavity, and a microwave inlet hole formed on a predetermined portion of the cooking cavity to irradiate the microwaves from the magnetron into the cooking cavity. A steaming plate is provided in the cooking cavity so as to partition the cooking cavity into upper and lower sections, and blocks the microwaves and allows water vapor to pass therethrough. The microwave inlet hole communicates with a bottom of the steaming plate provided in the cooking cavity.

A grill unit having a plurality of grill pipes, each grill pipe having two ends; water tanks connected to both ends of the grill pipes to supply water to the grill pipes; and soundproofing covers positioned around both ends of the grill pipes that are inserted into the water tanks. The grill unit allows water contained in grill pipes to continuously flow in any one direction, and prevents the generation of noise caused by water vapor discharged from the grill pipes to the water tanks.
