A display device includes: a display panel provided with multiple pixels; a driving circuit; and a power generator, wherein each of the pixels includes: a first switching transistor of which a gate electrode is connected to the gate line, of which a first electrode is connected to the data line, and of which a second electrode is connected to a first node; a driving transistor of which a gate electrode is connected to a reference line and thus receives a reference voltage supplied from the power generator, of which a first electrode is connected to the first node, and of which a second electrode is connected to a second node; and a light-emitting device of which an anode electrode is connected to the second node, and of which a cathode electrode is connected to a power line through which the power generator supplies a low-potential power supply voltage.

Display device

A display device is proposed, the display device including a display panel and a driving circuit, and pixels included in the display panel includes a driving transistor, a light emitting element, a capacitor, and first to sixth switching transistors Tto T. Tsenses threshold voltage of the driving transistor, the capacitor stores data voltage and a threshold voltage in both electrodes, Tapplies data voltage to the capacitor, Tinitializes the storage capacitor to reference voltage, and Tinitialize the light emitting element to reference voltage, Tcontrols current flow between the driving transistor and the light emitting element, and Tconnects both electrodes of the capacitor. A display device is proposed, the display device including a display panel having a plurality of pixels; a data driving circuit converting pixel data to a data voltage based on a gamma compensation voltage to supply the same to the plurality of pixels through a plurality of data lines; a gate driving circuit supplying a scan signal through a gate line connected to pixels of each horizontal line of the display panel; a power supply unit supplying a pixel driving voltage to the plurality of pixels through a power line; and a gamma reference voltage adjusting unit adjusting a range of the gamma compensation voltage based on a pixel driving voltage measurement value measured in synchronization with the scan signal at a plurality of positions on the display panel.

An organic light emitting display device using a multiplexer includes a display panel, a data driver, and a multiplexer. The display panel includes first to fourth data lines and first to fourth pixels respectively connected to the first to fourth data lines. The data driver includes a first output buffer supplying a data voltage to the first and third data lines and a second output buffer supplying a data voltage to the second and fourth data lines. The multiplexer distributes the data voltage from the first output buffer to the first and third data lines in a time division manner and distributes the data voltage from the second output buffer to the second and fourth data lines in a time division manner. The multiplexer connects a data line, which is not connected to the first and second output buffers, among the first to fourth data lines, to an initialization voltage line providing an initialization voltage.

Organic light emitting display having multiplexer for distributing data voltages

A display panel and an electroluminescent display using the same are disclosed. The display panel includes a first data line charged with a first data signal, a second data line charged with a second data signal, a first subpixel connected to the first data line, a second subpixel connected to the second data line, a gate line commonly connected to the first and second subpixels and simultaneously supplying a gate signal to the first and second subpixels, a demultiplexer connecting an output terminal of a data driver to the first data line using MUX switch elements and then connecting the output terminal to the second data line using the MUX switch elements, and a switch array supplying a reference voltage to the second data line when the output terminal is connected to the first data line by the demultiplexer using REF switch elements.

Display panel and electroluminescent display using the same

The disclosure relates to data driver and organic light emitting display device. The data driver includes: an input unit configured to receive an input data; a compensation data generator configured to generate a compensation data by applying a compensation value to the input data; a converter unit configured to convert the input data into an image data voltage and to convert the compensation data into a compensation data voltage; and an output unit configured to separately output the image data voltage and the compensation data voltage to a data line of the organic light emitting display.

The display panel includes: a sub-pixel, which comprises a light-emitting element and a driving element for driving the light-emitting element, the light-emitting element emitting light by a current in the driving element during a driving phase; and a power switching circuit configured to supply a first driving voltage to the sub-pixel during the driving phase in an active period and a blanking interval, and supply a second driving voltage to the sub-pixel during a data writing phase of the active period and during resetting, sensing, and data writing phases of the blanking interval.

Touch sensor integrated type display device and method of operating the same

A light valve panel and a liquid crystal display using the same are discussed. The light valve panel according to an aspect includes a liquid crystal layer, a first electrode including a block corresponding one-to-one with a light valve data line, and a second electrode facing the first electrode with the liquid crystal layer interposed therebetween. An angle between a vertical edge of the block and the light valve data line is greater than 0&#xb0; and less than 90&#xb0;. The liquid crystal display device according to another aspect includes a display panel, a backlight unit, and a light valve panel.

A touch sensor integrated type display device includes: a display panel including: pixels connected to data lines and gate lines and division-driven into a plurality of panel blocks, and a plurality of touch sensors connected to the pixels, a display driving circuit providing data of an input image to the pixels in multiple display periods divided from one frame period, and a touch sensing circuit driving the touch sensors and sensing a touch input in a touch sensing period allocated between the display periods of the frame period, adjacent panel blocks being division-driven in the display periods that are separated from each other with the touch sensing period, in which the touch sensors are driven, interposed therebetween, the display driving circuit including a shift register: shifting a gate pulse in accordance with a shift clock timing, and sequentially supplying the gate pulse to the gate lines.

A mirror display is described. The mirror display includes a plurality of first electrodes disposed on a first substrate, a plurality of sensor lines disposed on the first substrate, the plurality of sensor lines connected to the plurality of first electrodes, a plurality of second electrodes disposed on a second substrate, the plurality of second electrodes facing the first substrate, a liquid crystal layer interposed between the plurality of first electrodes and the plurality of second electrodes, a plurality of mirror driving lines on the second substrate, the plurality of mirror driving lines connected to the plurality of second electrodes, and a reflective polarizing film attached to the second substrate.

A liquid crystal display (LCD) device according to an embodiment includes a liquid crystal panel in which a gate line, a dummy data line, and a data line are disposed, a timing controller configured to generate compensation data, a data driver configured to generate a compensation data voltage on the basis of the compensation data, provide the generated compensation data voltage to the dummy data line, and provide a data voltage for displaying an image to the data line, a common electrode configured to provide a common voltage to pixels of the liquid crystal panel, and a compensation capacitor positioned outside of a pixel array of the liquid crystal panel and charged upon receiving the compensation data voltage.
