A foldable, flexible display apparatus includes a flexible display panel which displays an image and includes a display side on which the image is displayed and of which portions thereof face each other in a folded state of the flexible display apparatus; a cover window on the display side of the flexible display panel and including: a window film comprising a transparent plastic film having a modulus of elasticity of about 6.3 gigapascals or more; and a coating layer on the window film, and configured to be transparent and to protect the window film from physical damage thereto; and an adhesive layer between the window film and the display side of the flexible display panel, and configured to have elasticity and bond the window film and the flexible display panel to each other.

A flexible touch screen panel includes a window substrate, a polarizing functional layer, sensing patterns and sensing lines. The window substrate is flexible. The polarizing functional layer is attached on a first surface of the window substrate, and is divided into an active area and an inactive area positioned outside of the active area. The sensing patterns are formed in the active area on a first surface of the polarizing functional layer. The sensing lines are formed in the inactive area on the first surface of the polarizing functional layer, and are connected to the sensing patterns. In the touch screen panel, the polarizing functional layer has a laminated structure in which a polarizer and a retardation compensation film are attached on the first surface of the window substrate.

Flexible touch screen panel and flexible display device with the same

A window panel includes a first rigid part including a rigid material, a second rigid part including the rigid material, and a base substrate interposed between the first and second rigid parts and including a folding part configured to be folded by an external force. The folding part includes a first area and a second area, which are alternately arranged on a plane surface of the base substrate substantially perpendicular to a thickness direction of the base substrate. The first area includes the rigid material, and at least a portion of the second area includes a soft material. Thus, the rigidity of the window panel is maintained by the rigid material and the flexibility of the window panel is improved by the soft material.

A method of fabricating a touch screen panel for securing the strength of a unit cell touch screen panel includes forming sensing patterns as touch sensors in every unit cell touch screen panel on a mother glass substrate, etching the glass substrate in the thickness direction, forming a supporting film under the glass substrate, and by cutting the glass substrate and the supporting film cell by cell using dual cutting.

Touch screen panel and fabrication method thereof

A method of fabricating a touch screen panel according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: forming a reinforcing layer on the top and the bottom of a glass substrate by reinforcing the entire surface of the glass substrate defining a plurality of unit cell regions; forming the touch screen panels in the unit cell regions on a side of the glass substrate with the reinforcing layers; cutting the reinforced glass substrate into the touch screen panels; forming passivation layers on the outer surfaces of the touch screen panels and sequentially stacking the touch screen panels; and simultaneously with the stacking, performing healing on the non-reinforced cut-sides of the stacked touch screen panels.
