The present invention relates to an air foil journal bearing in which air is introduced between a foil and a rotor rotating at high speed and generates pressure to support a radial load of the rotor and allow the rotor to rotate smoothly, and more particularly, to a housing fixing structure of an air foil journal bearing that improves durability against external impact or vibration by restricting an axial movement of a bump by means of two opposite ends of the bump and a top foil fixing portion.

The present invention relates to an air compressor for a vehicle and, more specifically, to an air compressor for a vehicle wherein the entire operation of the air compressor may be stabilized by a cooling unit in which a portion of the compressed air that moves through a connection pipe conveying primarily compressed air exchanges heat with a cooling water flowing part to cool the driving unit.

Air compressor for a vehicle having improved internal cooling efficiency by ensuring a circulation flow of compressed air for internal cooling and allowing the compressed air to sufficiently flow. The air compressor comprises: a housing with a compression unit for introducing and compressing air from outside; a motor unit which includes a rotor and a stator, and drives the compression unit to rotate according to the rotation of the rotor; a bearing unit supporting the rotor to be rotatable; a cooling circulation flow path formed inside the housing for moving, in an axial direction, some of the air compressed in the compression unit and circulating the air to the compression unit; and a bypass flow path which receives some of the air passing through the cooling circulation flow path and bypasses a partial region of the bearing unit to join the cooling circulation flow path.

The present invention relates to a compressor and, more specifically, to an air compressor for a vehicle, which can support a rotor disk and form a cooling flow channel by a first cover and a second cover, and thus can improve cooling efficiency while increasing manufacturability.
