A light emitting module includes a light guide, a first light source, and a second light source. The light guide includes a first face, a second face oriented not parallel to the first face, a third face connected between the first face and the second face, and a light-emitting surface larger than each of the first face, the second face, and the third face. The first light source faces the first face. No light source is positioned between the first light source and an edge of the first face. The second light source faces the third face. No light source is positioned between the second light source and an edge of the third face. A distance from the second light source to the edge of the third face is greater than a distance from the first light source to the edge of the first face.

An exemplary embodiment provides a backlight unit including: a bottom chassis; a supporter positioned to extend along one edge of the bottom chassis; a light source unit fixed to the supporter; and a light guide plate that is positioned on the bottom chassis and is configured to transmit light emitted from a light source of the light source unit. The supporter may include a main body of which at least one corner area is cut and an insertion portion that is positioned at the corner area. Each of the main body and the insertion portion may include a base portion and a side wall, and the side wall of the insertion portion may extend from the side wall of the main body and in a direction different than a direction of the side wall of the main body.

A display device includes first light emitting devices arranged in a line in a protective member, second light emitting devices parallel to and alternately arranged with the first light emitting devices, and optical member supporters in the protective member between the first and second light emitting devices. Each optical member supporter is positioned at a center of a parallelogram defined by two adjacent first light emitting devices and two adjacent second light emitting devices, and each transparent optical member supporter includes a first surface that faces one of the first light emitting devices and a second surface opposite the first surface that faces one of the second light emitting devices. Each optical member supporter includes a plate portion having the first and second surfaces, and a hook portion that extends through the protective member. A width of the plate portion decreases with increasing distance from the hook portion.

A display apparatus includes a display panel which receives a light to display an image, a backlight unit which provides the light to the display panel, and a first protection member accommodating the backlight unit therein. The first protection member includes a bottom part, an inclined part connected to an edge of the bottom part and bent upward at a predetermined angle with respect to the bottom part, a connection part connected to an edge of the inclined part, and a first sidewall part connected to an edge of the connection part and extending upward. The display panel, the backlight unit, the bottom part and the connection part have a curved surface shape in a first direction and have a flat shape in a second direction substantially perpendicular to the first direction.

Display apparatus

A display module of a display device includes a display panel, a middle frame configured to seat and fix the display panel, an upper receiving frame including a front part covering an edge part of an upper surface of the display panel and a side part covering the side surfaces of the display panel and the middle frame and a one-sided conductive rubber pad located between the upper receiving frame and the display panel. The one-sided conductive rubber pad includes a conductive first surface and a non-conductive second surface facing each other, the first surface faces the display panel, and the second surface is in contact with the upper receiving frame.

A backlight assembly includes a first light source part including a plurality of light sources and extending in a first direction, a second light source part including a plurality of light sources, wherein the second light source part is spaced apart from and in parallel with the first light source part, and a driving part disposed between the first light source part and the second light source part. The driving part is connected to the first and second light source parts, and is configured to drive the light sources of the first and second light source parts.

The lamp socket includes: a body portion; a connection terminal for connection of the lamp socket to a terminal of a lamp; a compliant portion which connects the body portion and the connection terminal and includes a first portion connected to the connection terminal and a second portion connected to the body portion; and one or more fixing portions which extend from the body portion, wherein the first portion and the second portion at least partially overlap each other.
