The present invention relates to an external standard reference system of a type inserted into the coil of a human magnetic resonance imaging equipment, and more specifically, to a system capable of analyzing metabolic components (quantity of metabolites) in a human body without an error and a limited range using an external standard reference analysis method, in order to enhance accuracy of diagnosis by utilizing magnetic resonance spectroscopy of the human magnetic resonance imaging equipment. A system for evaluating performance of magnetic resonance spectroscopy includes an outer container for inserting an RF coil and provided with a plurality of holes; a plurality of inner containers arranged to be inserted into the plurality of holes respectively and capable of being filled with metabolites different from each other in at least a type or a concentration; and a frame for fixing a head of an object arranged inside the outer container.

External standard reference system of type inserted into coil of human magnetic resonance imaging equipment

The present invention relates to a phantom for quality assurance of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and computed tomography (CT) for multi-artifact correction. An aspect of the present invention provides a phantom capable of simultaneously evaluating performance of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and computed tomography (CT), the phantom including: a first hemispheric container; and a second hemispheric container which has the same structure and the same size as the first container, in which the first container and the second container are connected by being in direct contact with each other so as to form a symmetrical structure, each of the first container and the second container includes a teeth retainer into which a plurality of teeth mimics, which mimics teeth of a body, is inserted, and an insertion hole into which at least one bone mimic is inserted, and an interior of each of the first container and the second container is filled with at least one solution that mimics a brain metabolite.

Phantom for quality assurance of magnetic resonance imaging and computed tomography for multi-artifact correction

A new imaging phantom called a 'fusion phantom' enhances the efficiency of performance testing and quality control. The phantom relocates the test elements of a standard MRI phantom, and provides a configuration of inner containers that enables simultaneous performance testing on magnetic resonance imaging and magnetic resonance spectroscopy within a predetermined error range. The fusion phantom is useful for multi-purpose performance testing of magnetic resonance imaging equipment, including correlation analysis, performance testing, system management and the like in the diagnosis field. The fusion phantom enhances efficiency of time and reliability in testing performance of the magnetic resonance imaging equipment, adjusts incorrect position accuracy and improves quality of images.

A new multi-purpose phantom evaluates the performance of an ultra high field Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) apparatus. The phantom can assess a degree of diagnostic capability of an MRI apparatus using imaging conditions and variables and simultaneously analyze and evaluate performance of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), performance of Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (MRS) and metabolic components of a human body within a predetermined range of error and limit.
