A hardened cement produced by setting a cement slurry including graphene comprising bioderived renewable graphene (BRG), a cement, and water. The graphene of the cement slurry comprises, consists essentially of, or consists of BRG, and the cement slurry comprises at least 0.2 (e.g., from about 0.2 to about 20) percent graphene comprising BRG by weight of cement (% graphene bwoc). The hardened cement produced by allowing the cement slurry to set has one or more enhanced mechanical properties (e.g., increased Young's modulus (YM), increased compressive strength (CS), or increased resiliency as indicated by an increased reduction in a ratio of YM/CS) relative to a same hardened cement produced by allowing to set a same cement slurry comprising a same total amount of graphene, with synthetic graphene (SG) in place of at least a portion of the BRG. Methods of cementing with the cement slurry are also provided.

A method of subterranean well cementing, comprising providing a cement composition comprising a hydraulic cement, a first FLCA, a LCM, and water, wherein the first FLCA comprises a water-soluble polymer with repeating units comprising a 5- to 6-membered cyclic amide; introducing the cement composition into a wellbore penetrating a subterranean formation, wherein inclusion of the first FLCA and the LCM in the cement composition fluid reduces fluid loss into the subterranean formation, wherein the subterranean formation has fractures with a width of from about 1 micron to about 800 microns, and wherein the subterranean formation has a permeability of about 1 millidarcy to about 300 Darcy; and allowing the cement composition to set in the subterranean formation.

Combination of fluid loss control additive and lost circulation materials to control losses in formation

A liquid additive composition comprising a particulate material, an organic carrier fluid, a viscosifier, and an alcohol alkoxylate surfactant; wherein the particulate material is substantially insoluble in the organic carrier fluid; wherein the particulate material comprises a water-interactive material and/or a water-insoluble material; wherein the organic carrier fluid comprises a glycol and/or a glycol ether; and wherein the viscosifier comprises amorphous silica. A method comprising (a) contacting a particulate material, an organic carrier fluid, a viscosifier, and an alcohol alkoxylate surfactant to form a mixture; and (b) agitating the mixture to form the liquid additive composition.

Wellbore servicing fluid and methods of making and using same

Various embodiments disclosed relate to cement activator compositions for treatment of subterranean formations. In various embodiments, the present invention provides a method of treating a subterranean formation including placing in the subterranean formation a liquid cement activator composition including water, an alkali sulfate salt, a polyphosphate salt, and a stabilizer polymer.

Methods, compositions, and tools for use in creating rapidly forming plugs in situ in subterranean formations. In one instance, the disclosure provides a method that includes: placing a first pill comprising a calcium-aluminate-based cement composition at a plug location within the wellbore with the tubing; and placing a second pill comprising an alkaline fluid composition into the wellbore adjacent to the first pill with the tubing. In some cases there is a spacer fluid or spacer device between the first pill and the second pill. In some cases tubing having a mixing device is located at the bottom of the tubing in the wellbore to aid I mixing the first pill and the second pill to facilitate a chemical in situ reaction of the first pill and the second pill. The reaction between the first pill and the second pill forms a set plug at the plug location.

The present disclosure relates to a method of cementing comprising: providing a cement composition comprising: water, a cement, and a non-aqueous liquid anti-shrinkage cement additive comprising calcined magnesium oxide and a non-aqueous liquid; introducing the cement composition into a subterranean formation; and allowing the cement composition to set in the subterranean formation.
