A display device includes a plurality of pixels where each pixel includes a first transistor connected between a first node and a second node, and including a gate electrode connected to a third node, a second transistor connected between a data line and the first node, and including a gate electrode, a third transistor connected between the second node and the third node, and including a gate electrode, a fourth transistor connected between a first initialization voltage line and the third node, and including a gate electrode, a fifth transistor connected between a first power line and the first node, and including a gate electrode, a sixth transistor connected between the second node and a fourth node, and including a gate electrode, a storage capacitor connected between the third node and the first power line, and a light emitting element connected between the fourth node and a second power line.

Display device

A pixel circuit includes a light emitting element, a driving transistor, a first emission transistor applying a first power voltage to the driving transistor in response to a first emission signal, a second emission transistor applying the driving current to the light emitting element in response to a second emission signal, a first initialization transistor applying a first initialization voltage to an anode electrode of the light emitting element in response to the second emission signal, a data write transistor, a compensation transistor, a second initialization transistor, and a storage capacitor. A first off-duty ratio which is a ratio of a high voltage level period of the first emission signal in one frame is determined according to a set luminance level, and a second off-duty ratio which is a ratio of a high voltage level period of the second emission signal in the one frame is fixed.

Pixel circuit and display device having the same

A display device includes a display panel including pixels, and a first gate driver including first stages that output first carry signals, respectively, and first buffers that output first gate signals, respectively, and providing the first gate signals to the pixels. In case that the display panel includes a first display area and a second display area, the pixels disposed in the first display area are driven at a first frequency, and the pixels disposed in the second display area are driven at a second frequency; a first gate signal among the first gate signals output from a first buffer corresponding to the first display area is provided to the pixels disposed in the first display area, a first buffer corresponding to the second display area does not output the first gate signal, and the first gate signal is not provided to the pixels disposed in the second display area.

Display device using clocks having different frequencies for different display areas

A pixel circuit of a display device includes first to sixth thin-film transistors, and first and second capacitors. The first thin-film transistor generates a driving current, the sixth thin-film transistor is connected between a light-emitting element and the first thin-film transistor and controls a transfer of the driving current, and the second capacitor is connected between a gate electrode of the sixth thin-film transistor and the light-emitting element.

An organic light emitting display device includes a plurality of pixels. Each of the pixels includes an organic light emitting diode, first to third transistors, a storage capacitor, and a first capacitor. The second transistor includes a gate electrode receiving a first scan signal, a first electrode receiving a data signal, and a second electrode connected to a first electrode of the first transistor. The third transistor includes a gate electrode receiving a second scan signal, a first electrode connected to a second electrode of the first transistor, and a second electrode connected to a gate electrode of the first transistor. The storage capacitor includes a first electrode receiving a power voltage and a second electrode connected to the gate electrode of the first transistor. The first capacitor includes a first electrode connected to the gate electrode of the third transistor and a second electrode receiving the power voltage.

Pixel and organic light emitting display device having the same

An OLED device may include the following elements: a common electrode; a first pixel electrode overlapping the common electrode; a first emission layer positioned between the first pixel electrode and the common electrode; a second pixel electrode; a second emission layer positioned between the second pixel electrode and the common electrode; and a pixel defining layer including a first opening, a second opening, a first flat face, and an uneven surface structure, wherein the first opening partially exposes the first pixel electrode, wherein the second opening partially exposes the second pixel electrode, wherein the first flat face may be opposite the uneven surface and may be positioned between the first pixel electrode to the second electrode, and wherein the uneven surface may be positioned between the first opening and the second opening.

Organic light emitting display device and method of manufacturing the same

The display device includes: a display panel including a plurality of gate lines extending in a first direction and arranged in a second direction, a plurality of data lines extending in the second direction and arranged in the first direction, and a plurality of dots arranged in the first and second directions; a gate driver configured to sequentially supply a gate signal to the plurality of gate lines; and a data driver configured to supply a plurality of data signals to the plurality of data lines, respectively. The gate driver includes sub-gate drivers. The sub-gate drivers are disposed in the first direction to supply the gate signal to at least two positions of each gate line. Each of the sub-gate drivers includes a plurality of stages and each stage is disposed in at least one dot.

Display device with a reduced size of a bezel area

A display apparatus includes a first pixel connected to a first scan line, a second scan line, and a first data line, a second pixel connected to the first scan line and a second data line, and a selection circuit configured to electrically connect a first channel to one of the first data line and the second data line in response to selection signals. A pulse width of a first scan signal configured to be provided to the first scan line and a pulse width of a second scan signal configured to be provided to the second scan line are longer than one horizontal period.

An organic light emitting device includes an organic light emitting diode including an anode and a cathode, a driving transistor including a first semiconductor layer, wherein the driving transistor is electrically connected to the anode of the organic light emitting diode, and a control transistor including a second semiconductor layer including a different material from the first semiconductor layer and configured to control the driving transistor. The first semiconductor layer includes a first channel part, and first and second contact parts, and the second semiconductor layer includes a second channel part, and third and fourth contact parts. One of the first and second contact parts directly contacts one of the third and fourth contact parts.

Organic light emitting display device and a method of manufacturing the same

A gate driving circuit includes a plurality of stages to provide gate signals to gate lines of a display panel. At least one of the stages includes an input circuit receiving a carry signal from a previous stage. A first output circuit outputs a first clock signal as a gate signal. The second output circuit outputs the clock signal as a carry signal. The discharge hold circuit delivers the clock signal to a node based on the clock signal and discharges the node as a second voltage based on the carry signal. The pull down circuit discharges the gate signal as a first voltage based on a signal of the node and a succeeding carry signal from a succeeding stage and discharges another node and the carry signal as the second voltage. The switching circuit delivers the carry signal from the previous stage based on a second clock signal.
