An electronic apparatus includes a display panel including a folding portion overlapping with a folding axis, a first non-folding portion and a second non-folding portion, a support unit including a first support portion arranged under the first non-folding portion and a second support portion arranged under the second non-folding portion, an impact absorbing member interposed between the display panel and the support unit and coupled to the display panel, an adhesive member coupling the impact absorbing member to the support unit, a receiving portion defined in at least one of the first support portion or the second support portion, and a protrusion connected to the impact absorbing member and received in the receiving portion. A planar area of the protrusion is less than a planar area of the receiving portion.

Electronic apparatus

A display device includes: a display module; and a support plate disposed below the display module and including a first support plate, a second support plate, and a first folding plate disposed between the first support plate and the second support plate, where the first folding plate includes: a curved portion; a first reverse curvature portion disposed between the first support plate and the curved portion; and a second reverse curvature portion disposed between the second support plate and the curved portion, and a stiffness of the first reverse curvature portion is different from a stiffness of the second reverse curvature portion.

Display device

A flexible display device including a display panel layer, a touch sensing layer, a reflection prevention layer, and a window layer. The touch sensing layer is disposed directly on a first display panel surface, a second display panel surface facing the first display panel surface in a thickness direction, or a second base surface of the reflection prevention layer. The reflection prevention layer is disposed directly on the second display panel surface or a first base surface of the touch sensing layer. The window layer is disposed directly on the first base surface or the second base surface.

Flexible display device

A flexible display device includes a protection member, a first adhesion member, a display member, a second adhesion member, and a window member. A thickness of the display member is less than a sum of thicknesses of the protection member and the window member. The display member includes a display panel layer, a touch sensing layer, and a reflection prevention layer integrated with each other to reduce a thickness of the flexible display device. The reduction in thickness enables the flexible display device to be bent with a relatively small radius of curvature, as well as to be repeatedly bent (or otherwise flexed) with reduced potential for delamination of the first and second adhesion members.

A flexible display device includes a display panel layer, a touch sensing layer, a reflection prevention layer, and a window layer. The touch sensing layer is disposed directly on a first display panel surface, a second display panel surface facing the first display panel surface in a thickness direction, or a second base surface of the reflection prevention layer. The reflection prevention layer is disposed directly on the second display panel surface or a first base surface of the touch sensing layer. The window layer is disposed directly on the first base surface or the second base surface.

The present disclosure relates to a display device. The display device includes a display module and a support plate. The display module includes a display panel to display an image. The display module has a folding area folded with respect to a folding axis and a plurality of non-folding area adjacent to both sides of the folding area are defined on a plane. Additionally, the display module may include a plurality of layers disposed above and below the display panel. The support plate is disposed on a rear surface of the display module. An extension part of at least one layer of the plurality of layers may be coupled to the support plate.

A display device includes a display part including a first non-folding area, a second non-folding area, and a folding area between the first non-folding area and the second non-folding area, the folding area being foldable with respect to a folding axis, a window disposed on the display part, and an adhesive layer disposed between the display part and the window, the adhesive layer including a first adhesive material and a second adhesive material having an elongation rate greater than an elongation rate of the first adhesive material. The first adhesive material has a planar area greater than a planar area of the second adhesive material in each of the first non-folding area and the second non-folding area, and the second adhesive material has a planar area greater than a planar area of the first adhesive material in the folding area.

Display device including adhesive layer having multiple adhesive layers

A display device includes a display panel including a folding area at which the display device is foldable or unfoldable about a folding axis and a non-folding area adjacent to the folding area, a supporter which faces the folding area and the non-folding area, and in the folding area, a pad between the display panel and the supporter, the pad protruding from the supporter to the display panel and extending parallel to the folding axis.

A flexible display device includes a display panel including a bending area, a first non-bending area, and a second non-bending area, an outer member over a first surface of the display panel, and a stress control member between the display panel and the outer member, and including a first control area overlapping with the bending area, and a second control area and a third control area overlapping with the first non-bending area and the second non-bending area, respectively, such that the first control area is between the second control area and the third control area, and a maximum thickness of the first control area is less than a thickness of an end of the second control area and a thickness of an end of the third control area spaced apart from a bending axis in the second direction.

A display device includes a display module including non-folding areas arranged with each other in a first direction and a folding area between the adjacent non-folding areas, a hinge under the display module and configured to fold the display module with respect to the folding area, a supporter between the non-folding areas and the hinge, and a guide portion connected to the supporter and configured to be inserted into a guide groove defined in the hinge. A length in the first direction of the guide groove is obtained utilizing a length of an arc of the folding area when the display module is folded.
